i figured i'd just make a topic for this. this guy keeps posting clips from this TV show of sawao doing acoustic version of his songs. the nowhere clip has been floating around forever. here's the four new clips he's been putting up:

Bokura no Halley Suisei

Borderline Case

Feelin Groovy

and the newest one to be added, Patricia.

i noticed in the beginning of the Patricia vid, the host held up some cue card or something and it was numbered 1-6. he pointed to 5 and then sawao started playing patricia. obviously, there should be one more clip from this show and hopefully that'll be up tomorrow

Except those don't appear, at a glance, to be titles of songs. Still, one can hope.

And yeah, I like it too.

I especially liked the Patricia one, though it would have been nice if he'd played the entire songs.

It's interesting that he would be playing Bokura no Harei Suisei in '99, since I don't know of any live performances where they played that, and it was years after White Incarnation, and a few years before Turn Back, as well. My guess is that it's one of Sawao's personal favorites.

What exactly are they doing on this TV show, anyway? Is it some sort of game show?

Something. It seems like they are just going around searching for couples to play lovesongs to. Though I have no idea if this is what every episode is like. :eh:

SCORE! nice find!~ muchos thnx. <3

Bokura:
Naohito is the guy. Akane is the girl. the girl's only 25. 5 months pregnant. Sawao and guy are both amazed they're getting married. bokura is a song he likes to associate to the theme of marriage?..

WTF. why is sawao's engrish better in Feelin Groovy than in any other song?.

there's another song to this. "Nowhere" the video starts where Patricia ends. but the info on that says this: "Yomiuri TV West 20 Acoustic Session in Nankou" its the same program.. so..?

i think they're supporting a live for West 20. "The pillows vocal yamanaka sawao love song call for west 20 live. until then~"

wow. the people they found all looked uninterested. haha.
