i noticed today that the pillows logged onto their myspace the first time since september 3rd. i guess they wanted to see if any of their fans remembered, and i think they'll be pleasntly surprised at seeing how many comments have been left. ![]() i just wonder who atually goes on their account. i've always thought maybe manabe, but it could just be one of their PRs or something EDIT i just checked their myspace again. seems they put up a new blog! it says: 17th Anniversary Thank you for the comment of the birthday from you! We looks forward to the day when we can meet you again!!! Thank you!!!!! ![]() |

Hmmmmmm.. I wonder what the future has in store for the pillows. Maybe this year they'll actually let Jun sit near them during interviews... |

Maybe they will release a PROPOSE single... Maybe they will stop wearing their own t-shirts at every show... Maybe Sato will get arrested for DUI... Maybe Jun will stop downpicking... |

Dammit. DOWNPICKING IS NOT A PROBLEM. Different styles of play for different styles of music, man. For the pillows' older work like Daydream Wonder, more intricate basslines (played with the fingers) were better suited for the job. But when I'm listening to something like Gazelle City, I'm not exactly wishing for a really complex bassline. It's not necessary. Please please understand that sometimes, just hitting the root note is fine if it complements the song better. |
