Post subject:  Favorite easy listening song?

I figured this would be a nice change of pace. I know e've had favorite songs and whatnot, but I knew if I asked that (I'd be re-starting an existing thread...) I'd get a lot of Hybrid Rainbow's, Swanky Streets, etc.

So I wondered what are some nice songs that are good, easy to listen to, but are not at the top of everyone's favorite list? Easy-listening songs. When you list a song, describe what you like about it so we can see and appreciate where you're coming from--I like comments like that.

I go first:

Personally, I don't know how it crept up on me so rapidly, but I'm falling in love with Plastic Flower. There's just something about that song... the guitars are so hypnotic, and I almost feel like falling into a -really- peaceful sleep when I listen to it. Oddly enough, I also feel like I could stay awake forever when I listen to it. I like the chord progressions, the drums are very nice and rhythmatic... The lyrics are gentle and it's like the song is a gentle caress to my mind.

It's kind of funny, when I first listened to it I was like, ">.<! My ears kinda hurt! Why is it so wavy~?" and I didn't really like it. Then I was roaming through some of my mp3s and I felt like listening to it again for some reason. I did, and when I got past the crazy sound effects, I liked it a whole lot more than I did.

I dunno, maybe it seems nostalgic and I'm just a sucker for 90's nostalgia.

Calll them easy listening again and I will slit your throat.

I think what you're referring to is their "lounge-era" stuff.

this is why this thread is stupid. i don't think any of the acoustic songs (as in trip dancer and nowhere and the like) even start to count as "easy listening" just because they're softer than the rest.

I've always liked the North Ocean Brother Lovin' in "like a lovesong (back to back)"

But what the hell, on a serious note,

Hello Welcome to Bubbletown's Happy Zoo
Killing Field
Stalker
Naked Shuffle
White Ash (Yes, it counts.)
Advice
Smile (the middle)
Nightmare (the end)
Sleepy Head
DEGENARATION, I WILL
Ritalin 202

But seriously it's gotta be "Twilight Park Waltz"
