ah man, this suuuucks. i used to go to that kinokuniya all the time when i was in SF... my god, how could the pillows be slipping through my fingers this easily?

so, this is the part in the movie where i'm supposed to rob a bank or something to fund my crazed trip to the pillows concert... or maybe, if it was a more PC or family-oriented movie, some kind of car wash fundraiser.

I would hope someone would let them know that most of the fans did not appreciate the fact that some idiot jumped on stage at the LA show and just let them know that we appreciate the fact that they came out and toured here. That's really all I can think of.

EDIT: And please, someone take some pictures.

Ask them if they'll ever perform anything that hasn't been released yet in the U.S. Let them know that the vast majority of fans have imported their pre/post FLCL stuff (hate to say it like that).

Ask Sawao if he has ever had the opportunity to meet Kim Deal in person. XD

Well, it is a possiblility since noodles opened up for The Breeders while they were in Japan a few years back so who knows.

Yeah, after reading indivi's account of the incident I feel TERRIBLE for the pillows and the LA fans who had to be in the proximity of the guy. If they could know that much of the pillows fan community was completely outraged with it...I dunno. It just seems necessary that that issue should be mended up.

As for other things - Well, I'm just thinking that (A: Many of their fans only know the FLCL work and B: Their non-FLCL work is also amazing) so...(I don't know how to formulate this into a question)...something about playing their other stuff at concerts to introduce FLCL-fans to their other work?

I can't really express what I really mean about it, but they're gonna be doing their third show in about a year, so...maybe Little Busters, Ride on Shooting Star, and Blues Drive Monster should take the back seat to say...Shiroi Natsu, Good Morning Good News, Kanojo wa Kyou, or something like that.

More importantly though, I second telling Sawao and the others that what happened at L.A. really does not reflect in the slightest what the US fans think of them. I'm really worried about their views of another US tour now.
