 Jun Suzuki
He's been with the Pillows a good number of years. He's done some weak and shitty stuff, but some of us still love him. Plus, he's really contributed well to help the band towards the mainstream world.
Does anyone agree that he should leave the Pillows and just work on his awesome side project, Fragments?

He'd be stupid to leave the pillows; that's how he makes his money. Fragments clearly isn't profitable.

Well, said.
But I'd still like to hear some new fragments tracks.

Money doesn't mean the world to everyone, you know. I think he should focus on whatever he wants to. He's his own person, with his own life, own ambitions, and own beliefs. If he wants the money, then stick with the pillows. If he wants something that he can't have with them, then he should leave.

He can still make solo records, but even artists have to pay the bills. Throwing away a sweet gig like playing with the pillows wouldn't be too smart.

You know what blows me away about these Jun Suzuki converstaions is most bass players are mediocre at best and you guys are acting like he's the worst bass player on the planet. He's better than 90% of the American bass players out there. The fact that you guys are always going on about how mediocre he is baffles me. Kashima was kind of a bass genius but he is rare breed. If the pillows did get a different bass player, chances are he wouldn't be any better than Suzuki anyway.

It'd be nice to get Kashima back. REAL nice.
Some of Jun's best work are Sonna Fuu ni Sugoshitai, Funny Bunny, and a good majority of TYMT.

Agreed.
...Though I haven't quiet yet caught on to what makes Kashima so incredibly amazing. Could someone recommend me some pillows tracks that show off his ability (so I could focus on the bass more)?
