 Geneon's Own Stupidty Now we know the reason for all the confusion. Why did geneon have to get a hold of them? Why not Tofu who actually does some research on their artists?

I think it's because they got a hold of the FLCL OSTs. Personally, I think they should've gone over to Tofu Records; because they would've released all of their CDs. Plus, the odds of Geneon picking up this new Pillows US Tour DVD are slim; which totally sucks for us! If Tofu got to them, the Pillows not only would be treated better, but it would reach farther out than just the anime fanbase. Of course, it's hard to find a L'arc~en~ciel album at Best Buy; but I haven't been able to find Penalty Life anywhere except anime-exclusive stores. But if they were signed onto Tofu, or say Warner Bros./Elektra/Atlantic or even Columia/Epic, the Pillows would be known better and create a bigger buzz in the music department.
At least that's my opinion.

i like how the capitalized the T in the and they have Penalty Life as the picture and i hate them forever.
animerica magazine once said that the pillows was an "oft-instrumental" group. damn ALL bastards who don't do research...DOGS...

I'm pretty sure that Tofu Records only has the rights to release stuff from artists who are on the Sony Japan label.

that's true. Which explains why artists such as Gackt are not on US markets (despite the popular demand).

The reason it's a picture of Penalty Life is because that's what they released. When I figured that out on May, 3rd I was sooooo pissed. I was so excited about getting the actual disc domestic and its Penalty Life which I already had as a CD.

Maybe the reason they aren't marketing Gackt in the U.S. is becuase they suck.

from the new RightStuf/Geneon catalog. Now it's My Foot. either that, or they're seriously
releasing it domestically. but there isn't any information on the geneon or rightstuf site.
