i'm still convinced it should be 'resister'. resistor = a device used to control current in an electric circuit by providing resistance. resister = someone who offers opposition. not that sawao hasn't come up with batty things before, but in the context of the song, 'resister' makes sense. |

Perhaps it says one to say the other, so to speak. As in, controlling the 'flow' of the 'circuit' by providing that resistance? Or maybe offering to be that controller...Something of the sort. Yamanaka-san has always been full of clever little metaphors. |

So are they going to correct the spelling on future copies of My Foot? That would make our misspelled ones "pimp" and a bit of a collector's item. |

If "Lesister" can make it past QC and into printing, I wouldn't really expect them to tell the difference between "resister" and "resistor." I actually wasn't immediately aware of that myself, I had to go look it up. And I'm the one who's majoring in Creative Writing. |

i thought it was funny that we all thought it was the "air register" until we got our albums, looked at the back, and saw "lesister." i was all, "oh, reSISTER!" but yeah, i got what they meant. i just find it funny that their correction is a mistake. |
