Nowhere is the best song ever written by the pillows. After listening to it at least 5 times in a row on my kickass system with the bass cranked way the fuck up, I just felt like I had to say this. Go listen to the LITTLE BUSTERS album right now if you haven't in a while. It "surpasses even Herbal Essences in orgasmic experiences." |

I used to think Nowhere was a really shitty song until I actually listened. The chorus is really good. For a rock song. |

Yeah, it took me forever to realize what a great song Nowhere is... I probably prefer Like a Lovesong just a little bit more. Little Busters really has NO bad songs on it. Maybe my favorite album by them, period. Nowhere probably has the coolest chord progression in any pillows song. No Self Control isn't too far off, though. |
Little Busters really has NO bad songs on it.
This is of course an opinion, but I find it to be a very good point. I have never felt the need to skip a song, and each one is just as kickass as the last. All of the other albums, excluding maybe Thank You, My Twilight, and Runners High, have a song or two that just kills the pace of the album somewhere in the middle. For instance: I can't stand when Fun Fun Fun OK! comes on after Vain Dog or: Noboranai Taiyou after THR... WORD UP! |

Nowhere was at some time my favorite, but things like that keep changing, I still think that's their best "slow" song along with bokura no halley suisei. I always thought that all about LB, which lead me to vote on it for best album on that pool even if it's not my favorite. edit: and I didn't like nowhere's acoustic version. |

Please Mr. Lostman and Living Field are the only other albums I can say the same thing about. Naturally, these three are in constant battle for my favorite. I think what I like so much about Little Busters is the sheer coherent-ness of the whole thing. The album flows together perfectly with a common style, but without any of the songs sounding alike at all. It doesn't get enough credit- I blame TEH FOOLY COOLY for ruining serious fans' opinions of it. |
I blame TEH FOOLY COOLY for ruining serious fans' opinions of it.
I blame the FLCL fans for not spending the dough to hear the other great stuff the pillows have to offer on the other albums (i.e.: "Nowhere" on LB, "Wake up frenzy" on RH, "Swanky Street" on PML, "Kim Deal" on HB); and just being lazy and buying the OSTs and "Penalty Life". Eck! |
