The third eye (11/23 MAXI SINGLE)
New single
The third eye Release: November 23rd
So, we at last have confirmation that the November release is, indeed, another single. This will be the first time that the pillows have released back-to-back singles since Ride on shooting star and I think I can.
More information such as cover art and a track-list should be available within the coming months.
"The third eye" is the title of the opening track of NINE MILES' SOLOMONIC POLAR BEAR album... Hmmmm.

Well, I should think Nine Miles sales will increase, what with two cover (?) tracks already announced.
Good for Manabe, what a trooper

Cool.

Its the rise of the machines. Soon manabe will be able to replace the rest of the band with his robot minions.
But honestly, Im looking forward to these covers. I like Manabe's stuff.
btw, non-fiction doesn't sound bad.

I'm not that big on Nine Miles, but I'm actually really excited to hear the pillows' versions of these songs.

I'm also not too big on Nine Miles, but I think a Pillow's version of any song from them would definately be a good song.

Manabe's influence might help steer the band into a different direction than the past few albums.

Yeah, I think the band will do even better if all three members put in 100 percent effort instead of feeling that Sawao is the leader. Why doesn't Shin-chan write some songs? I think that'd be badass cuz he's awesome.

His awesomeness cannot be expressed in music. It holds back his true power.

I enjoy certain breeds of reggae however, what I heard of nine miles did not really impress me. But perhaps if these covers are reworked in the flare of rock, then perhaps these singles will become uniquely cool with musical attidude. regardless any bran new song is also good.
Also I would not cut short the writting abillity of sato and manabe. Im sure they are just as much part of creating proccess as Sawao is. When your with people and your creating music everyone is communicating with eachother in order to make a better song. Thats just how it is. Yeah perhaps it appears thier is a leader, but being a awsome rocking band is a group effort.
