The DVD is cool. If your looking for full songs, dont buy it. It's more of just like "the adventures of the pillows in america" kind of thing. I think they might play one full song without cutting it. But its funny stuff when it isnt showing the concert. Some of the quality of the picture and sound gets bad in the concerts but some are still good. I can see myself at the knitting factory concert. And haha they cut the swanky street solo, they start it then just cut to something else, hmmmm. Anyway it's pretty good.

But the ACEN little extra part...thank god i didnt go to that concert. Too many otaku and friggan cosplayers screaming like "i love the pillows" when they probably dont know carnival has words. The pillows dont look as happy there either, at the other concerts their smiling and everything, here its just like putting on another show. The lights are trippy though. So yeah, the DVD is pretty good. 916 is deffinately better though. But this is a differant kind of DVD, it seems less about the concert, and it needs less noodles and more pillows in the concert parts for sure.

By the way i think it shows that dinner that Flyp went to, but im not sure if thats him or not.
I wouldn't be happy either if the only song the fans knew was "Ride on Shooting Star". I also wouldn't be happy if I couldn't play something off of our just-released new album with better songs than our previous album (although I do like "I Know You"). I especially wouldn't be happy if I couldn't play "Strange Chameleon" or some of the earlier cooler stuff! But the thing that would piss me off the most is that these "fans" probably spent more time looking up Hentai and other forms of porn than took the time to import the albums and research the actual lyrics of the songs rather than pretend they are the biggest Pillows fans in the world!!! GOD THAT FELT GOOD!!!!!!!!!

At the Knitting Factory show; a lot of people knew the words to "Swanky Street". I think that's what made the band the most happy.

Was the Knitting Factory version of "Sleepy Head" on the DVD? I was so hoping to see Sawao jump into the crowd; which was the exact moment I believe he realized that he was a rock god.

Any English subtitles? I know it's not likely, but I thought maybe King Records would realize a lot of US fans would buy this.

Finally, the truth is said.

The Acen concert was the ultimate test of my willpower with regards to punching people in the face. These 1337 o74ku asshats were saying "yeah i think they ran out of songs" during a break. Some other dickmonkeys were saying how the pillows only have like two cds. "I didn't know this song had words" was heard much more than should be possible, and in retaliation, I moshed all over their feet. I felt good.

Okay, here's what should've happened at Anime Central. After the concert was over, Sawao should've gone to the mic and said, "I'm gonna finish what FLCL started!" Then the pillows all pull out AK-47's and ice the audience while screaming, "Damn Otakus!"

They don't show sleepy head from the knitting factory but they show him dive into the audience after Advice.

Also so far i dont think there's any english subtitles unless there's an option somewhere i'm missing. This one part Jun calls the camera man something early in the morning and for some reason the subtitles were in english, maybe cause he said it in english.

apart from the dumbassery in the crowd, it was quite good. i'm planning on getting the dvd, to see the other shows and how it compared.

the ACen show was a great disappointment, but they played on anywayz and it was more like they were playing for kids in Japan..(??) and they had "some" fun.. bdmonster said he saw sawao playing a fret off for a minute and jun and manabe were laughing and staring at sawao. and they met a few kids who actually liked the band~ like whoever wore that shirt with the Shibuya-show signatures. but yea.. signing several hundred FLCL osts and unreasonably lots of ACen booklets is pretty depressing..

I'd have to say the Otaku were retarded, but when I saw the show, I was in my own little world. I was just in gaze staring at them play versus jumping around and being dumb so I didn't even notice them and another plus was I was right in the front. I was the one wearing the signatures shirt which is great cuz it got an awesome laugh out of Sawao and then he poked at Manabe and then him and Sato laughed too. The one guy that was the translator (he's in the WOTP DVD) asking in pretty good English where I got the shirt and I told him I made it. Then he told Sawao and gang. It made me feel like a million bucks. Plus I got my FOTP CD signed. I was kinda disspointed that I only saw a couple guys actually have real Pillows' Cds versus FLCL OSTS and Penalty Life that was sold right before the signing. Overall it was totally worth it because in the end, why would I let a bunch of idiots ruin the day I've been waiting for for half a decade.

If we did that, then we'd have to kill ourselves; which is bad.

Pillows "fans" who only know FLCL non-lyric stuff suck and deserve to get a beating.

During the Knitting Factory scenes, does Sawao or any other band member have a newspaper in his hand with the headline "Just Waiting For the Little Busters"? (i.e. my article)

Agreed. FLCL did grow the Pillows' popularity with Americans at least 90% but people who try to pull off that they are fans and didn't know Stalker had lyrics...off with their heads!
