Post Classics
This is something that I have been pondering for a few days now. Perhaps the only way for the pillows to save their asses from bitchy fans like ones found here is (taking consideration that they don't change their current style) playing shows full of the classics. Kinda like those Pixies shows that recently passed us.

Problem is, where do you place the classics cut off year? 2002 or 1999? IMO, I think 2001 would be best. Just to include ROSS and I think I can.

Discuss.

Only if they did a set of B-sides, too, like the Pixies.

Man, I'd pay for both.

i agree with this one. Except i really don't find their new stuff bad. I would still go to their shows if they only played PL and Good Dreams songs. There's nothing really wrong with them, they just aren't quite as good.

Economically speaking, that means they should be making a recovery soon and prosper again thereafter.

What do we do about this dilemma? Should we bomb the official site's BBS with matters about older stuff? or try to deliver the message to Chie Arai? Draw a petition full of fans interested in shows with the older stuff?

I'm guessing there was a pun intended there.

Actually, the hidden "5th" member (Sawao, Sato, Manabe, and Ueda are the only official members, I guess no on likes Tatsuya or Jun) is Kanazawa Imo (pronounced "ee-moh"). You can unlock him by playing your pillows album on a PS2 and pressing O, X, O, X, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, Select, Start, R2+R1, L2+L1, Start. The code should generally be entered before the first guitar solo on the album, otherwise it probably won't work.

Just for those not yet oriented, he's the worst theremin player in Japan and jedi is right: they should cut his ass out of the band.

NONFICTION looks promising... that's why.

Nonfiction would be the first of a gradual recovery? or is it a Bismarck?
