Re: New DVD: Tour Blue Song With Blue Poppies So, I finally got the DVD and put it in my computer to watch... and it doesn't fuckin work. I've got my region killer app running, and it detects the disk, but upon trying to play it with VLC, it just plays back a static audio loop and no video. Then trying to use WMP I get this bullshit:
"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card."
Did anyone else have an issue with playback? Cause it seems like the fucking disk was authored wrong and I have no way of returning it because I bought at their show from a traveling merch stand.

VLC can play DVDs regardless the region, but that "audio loop, no video" is just a glitch (happens to me all the time). That audio loop is actually the menu screen. You could try updating VLC, if that doesn't work, what I did is closing VLC and re-opening it several times. Or try opening the DVD directly from VLC with File -> Open Disc
If that doesn't work, try ripping the DVD using something like ImgBurn, and burning the DVD into a Blank DVD. You'll have an exact copy, only region free. But make sure it's a Dual-Layered DVD or something like that, cause I burned my copy of Lostman Go To Yesterday Tour and it got cut off in the middle.

This happened to me with the 1989 PV that came with Rock Stock. It actually worked with my other DVD, but not on my computer.

Re: New DVD: Tour Blue Song With Blue Poppies I'm pretty sure Media Player Classic will play any DVD, regardless of region. Or, you can rip it and just watch the video files. Your pc wont deny executing video files, and perhaps you can share them with us.
