It's great to hear that yet another show was a big success. I wonder if the pillows are surprised that they're getting such a large reception. It seems that I really underestimated their popularity here. Hopefully this success means that they'll be back for another tour.
Man, I really want to see them live now. If only to chat with them. Has anybody bothered calling King King to see if they'll be lenient on the 21+ law?
they said all attendies must be 21+
anyone interested in trying to get to them after the show?..

If you live close and its not a problem, buy tickets and go anyway. If they don't let you in, well, tickets weren't thaaat expensive, right? Go with someone that is 21 or older anyway, it may make you look older >.<. Go early and you can probably get in and see their soundcheck or get autographs and meet them. When I showed up early I was still unsure whether or not they would allow me into the actual show, but I was still satisfied because I had hung out with them and heard a couple songs anyway. Mind you, the bulletin for the show at Pianos said "STRICTLY 21+!" and I had no trouble walking in... So if it's not much of a sacrifice I definetly reccomend trying to go anyway. I think they really just don't want a bunch of minors running around buying alcohol at 1 in the morning.

well the thing is that i don't live THAT close to LA anymore. i live like an hour away (i live in the heart of the OC now ). so it actually is a bit of a problem. plus i still don't drive yet, despite the fact that i am 19. it is something that i am working on at the moment tho. but anyways, yes it ture that the tickets are not expensive. i don't know if taking someone who is 21 will make me look older because they might card me anyway. i don't think i look 21. but a friend of mine said i could pass. i was considering getting a fake ID but i know i will be fucking nervous as hell when and if i get carded.
i don't know tho. i might call them up again to see if they just can't put a big black X on my hand (they did this to all the underage kids when i went to a show by The Adicts). but if you were able to get into that 21+ new york show, i don't see why i won't be able to get in. i'll see if i can't convince them to let me in...

[edit] SCRATCH THAT... virtuous for the King King show only has Virtuous tickets.. "When you buy Virtuous tickets, there is never a paper ticket issued? Virtuous sells paperless tickets."
"Tickets may be picked up on day of show only, after doors open.
You must bring your photo-ID to venue box office or door to pick up your tickets.
All other guests must be present when tickets are picked up.
You may change the ticket pick-up name only while tickets for this event are still available and on sale. No changes can be made through Virtuous after sales end.
Adults must present government-issued photo-ID such as driver's license or passport. Minors attending All-Ages shows may present photographic school ID.
No print-outs are accepted for entry. You must present matching photo identification to use your tickets. "
fudge... well.. it was a good idea. ''

one hour away isn't bad compared to the 3 hours away for me. Uh, by plane. I spent all my cash only hoping they'd let me in even though I'm not 21, so you can tell I was a bit scared up until the moment they let me in..
Get a fake ID. They aren't that tricky to get.

Ha ha! That guy is a piece of work. He told me I was to only person who contacted him about this and that I take things too seriously. Apparently I wasn't the only one.

Too red, and the knobs aren't quite right. It might be a Mega Distortion.
EDIT: Curse you, kelp.
