anyways, i can see where last dinosuar is coming from with his whole rating system. people just have different tastes in music. the way the pillows played their music on kool spice and the way they play on my foot are two totally different things. some people like jazz more, some people like rock more, plain and simple. i personally like the post-mr. lostman stuff better than the pre-mr. lostman stuff becuase i just like the rock feel more. that's not to say that the first 6 albums aren't good. i love songs like sariban ni naraitai and angel fish. but they're just another style of music that i don't like as much as the pillows later stuff. but i wouldn't go as far as giving kool spice a D+. naked shuffle is on there!!!

I guess, for me, the reason I don't particularly like Kool Spice is not because I don't "understand" it or enjoy jazz. As you noticed, I do like most of what's on Living Field. I simply like one album and not the other. In no way does that show ignorance, just preference. I also don't feel the need to jump on the bandwagon of favoring Living Field and Kool Spice over everything else, simply for respect from the "virtuosos" on this board.

I can guarantee that if My Foot came out in 1998, it would get a LOT more respect. Think about it.

Please understand, I don't mean to start anything, but this whole "you don't understand classical music" and "ignorance" deal needs to come to an end. Just enjoy the music...
