Also, Japan is archaic and it's probably more common to see independent artists selling CDs on the street than it is to see bands with bandcamp pages, etc.

i guess the reason i dont know many bands of that kind is that im not in a position to discover them by physically attending the live show. however, many of the bands that i love and discovered thru their widely available releases were once bands that only put out venue-only CDs.

soooooo Jun is playing in a band called 緊急バンド with the dude from The Collectors and the drummer from The Birthday? I dunno if it's just a one-off for 緊急ナイト at Red Cloth but it's good to see Jun doin something with some super noteworthy musicians.
