Yeah she's the worst...
O gosh, it's really painful to see Sawao trying to speak English, the host makes matters worse.
It's hard to imagine that the one talking is the confident, energetic frontman of our beloved band.

Give the host some slack, she's just doing her job, but she's wrong with some of her facts though regarding the pillows popularity comparison in America. If Sawao were to choose to speak in English like that, I would've not been interested in hearing it either. The host doesn't decide what language the artist is supposed to speak in, it's up to the artist to decide what language he/she wants to speak in. I think Sawao wanted to connect with the American crowd by speaking in English due to the popularity of FLCL in America.

Yeah I kind of felt the same way. But they could have easily subtitled the interview and made it go a lot more smoother and less rehearsed (Sawao did very well to remember everything). I am however proud of Sawao for speaking in English.
