I think Shiroi Natsu would be a good one to include...

And I also echo the previous calls for "Nowhere" and "Something Like a Romance."

Shiroi is good to include on ANYTHING.
Also, the acoustic Fool on the Planet is pretty good, yeah.
Keep in mind, she's a choir teacher so I'd want her to listen to some tracks where Sawao has great mellow emotion and charisma in his voice.

Nowhere should definetly be included.
his voice is amazing in it.

same with something like a romance, as stated above. that one is very challenging, vocally.

1. Please, Mr. Lostman
2. Angel Fish
3. GIRLFRIEND
4. Happy Slave
5. ONE LIFE
6. TRIP DANCER
7. Like a Lovesong
6. NOWHERE
9. Swanky Street
10. STRANGE CAMELEON
11. Hybrid Rainbow (/w secret slogan)
I gave her that CD with those tracks, and rearraged so it's a smoother transition between them as far as musical keys. Let's just cross our fingers that she'll like it and somehow this will expand the Pillows further into the US fanbase.
EDIT: Always put NOWHERE and Swanky Street together, respectively. It's fan-fucking-tastic.

I honestly hate comps because I feel like they take a way from how the albums are made but anyway...
Its hard to do this because you want show them the classics but your afraid they won't like it at first... plus you know you have to show them a side to thier music that people can relate to or they are use to ala rock.
Also less is more in this situation, because its japanesse music. and unless your trying to get somone from Japan to like the pillows most likely people will only feel like listening to it for a little bit. so I sugest 1-3 songs at a time. This way your not shoving it down thier throat (even though you want to) but instead letting them learn on thier own how awsome the pillows are. Eventually they will snowball and then you can show them how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I recently been making 7 song comps for a few of my converting friends to help them on thier way here is one:
1. My Foot
2. that future is now
3. bran new love song
4. Sleepy Head
5. Babylon Verses the Angel
6. Swanky Street
7. No Substance
sorry this was long.
