Re: Overrated pillows Songs Subhuman - This was cute initially, but then no. No legs.
Happy Bivouac - It's weirdness and trudging tempo make it impossible to be truly great.
Last Dinosaur - There, I said it. Ban me. Last Dinosaur is a one trick pony. It's a great trick, and the solo is killer. But people treat this song like it's the second coming of Laser Christ. Sono Mirai is better, more fun live, and the new (barely) extended ending is kinda cool (see Lostman Go To Yesterday raibu).
Nobody Knows What Blooms. Yeah, it sounds good when Sawao sings "We start to seed, nobody knows what blooms." The rest of the song is reallly tacky.
One Life - kind of a toss up. Out of many of the pillows' songs, I consistently recognize One Life as having some of the most solid, strong song-writing. The chorus is such catharsis, and the solo is exquisite. I see why the Haruko-cosplaying mouthbreathers get moist over this one. It just never really jumps out at me, like "OH DOG, I HELLA NEED TO LISTEN TO ONE LIFE RIGHT NOW." Oh, also loses points for "Kitto sousa, ohh yeaahhheaaaeaeahhhh, HAWANN LIIIIFEE"
Ameagari ni mita maboroshi - Could be really good if Sawao wrote it in the Little Busters era, and sang it with his youthful Little Busters voice. His tone and production really harm this one, everything's too present and rough. He smacks the sorrow in your face like a salmon held from the tail. It needs more lament, more airiness. I'm gonna add Last Holiday here, same criticism. Also, too short, too bland.
LIFE SIZE LIFE - Just kidding, no one liked this song in the first place.
Please Mr. Lostman. No significant comments here, I just think it's overrated.
Kono yo no Hate Made - boring ballad powerchords, uninspiring vocal melody. Crash, bang, snore. Only neat part is when Manabe chimes in at 3:24.
Monster C.C. - Whenever it's mentioned on this forum, it's always somebody on their knees giving this song some good ol' fellatiatus. Redeeming quality is "WHATS MY NAAAAME?!?!?" Seriously good.
