Sounds awesome, I'm jealous of the being able to afford a nice guitar for him AND the multiple shows in one tour.

Very thoughtful gift, super cool story. It's that sort of thing that surely helps them realize there are a lot of really hardcore pillows fans out here, and probably helps a lot with getting them to cater a bit more to us in the future.

The reason he was able to afford it is because my bf collects guitars. He had enough points racked up at the guitar store when he went to go trade in a guitar that he was able to:
1. Trade the guitar.
2. Afford repairs.
3. Get the Mustang and only pay like $100 odd dollars.
4. Get a freebie guitar (God decided to smile on us on this day... )

That was a weird day. But I wonder if the pillows get presents like that often.

I wonder if Manabe would use it. The reason why my bf got it for him was because he misses the power Manabe had with the Mustang.

I think they all get a random present here and there, from homemade gifts to purchased goods like that. When I saw them in Takasaki, one woman gave Sawao a little buster-kun she made herself as a birthday gift.

The bf said he saw this couple, and they had a baby with little buster-kun pajamas on.

They need to realize they have super fans in the states like this and stop playing FLCL and new stuff.

My best friend and his pregnant wife brought a onesie she sewed a Buster-kun onto to get signed at the Seattle show, haha. I think they're starting to realize that they have some really die-hard fans, and from the reactions Swanky Street got, the number of Lostmans and Kool Spices and other old/rare things that people bring to get signed, it's likely that future tours will be even better for us, especially if Ladybirdgirl pulls off getting a fan-based voting thing going on, which would totally let IM bomb the polls for certain epic tracks together.

Multiple couples with Buster-kun outfits for babies? Wow, that's totally cool!

God I am so depressed LA did not get Swanky Street. Lostman is my absolute favorite hands-down. It seems so unfair...
If they make it up with Okujyo (long shot, I know but I can dream!) I'll forgive them. Going into a pillows show, we all have a dream playlist we want to hear. It won't happen of course, but if they actually listen to us... It's more than I deserve in life.

Dunno about you guys, but I'm thinking of setting up a home server network to spam votes for One Life multiple times per hour.

And I had totally forgotten how significant the gift of the Mustang is, the fact that it's a Mustang in particular. One, it's a TOTALLY baller gift, holy shit. But I just remembered that, yeah, he doesn't play that pillows-iconic guitar anymore! Totally cool. Though I hope the guy had the decency to include Seymour Duncan JB pickups...

I was still requesting Ice Pick at NYC, I knew they wouldn't play it but maybe for the next tour, they'll throw some more oldies in.

Also, I love the Mustang, but that Sago of his sounds pretty fucking sweet.
Maybe he'll use the Mustang for the next tour/some kind of "Lostman go to yesterday again" tour.

Ice Pick would be sweet, it was my favorite part about the Takasaki set (other than the epic One Life guitar pick get lolol). I think we'll have to pick like three or four songs they would be unlikely to play to all team up on getting played, which could be hard, but maybe we could do a poll of some sort here to figure out which are the four most popular track requests for the forum and all agree to bombard them with those tracks?

A thread where we all put 4 songs we would like to hear, after some time, we count every song posted and make a list of the ones that were most requested by the posters
