For some reason, I can't help but think you're familiar with the topic of horses having seizures.

Re: Song Of The Day
Great song I was surprised by when I was playing my itunes on shuffle. That House has such a great feel to it. Lazy day songs like this are fucking amazing.

Re: Song Of The Day
That House was actually one of my first few pillows songs. I loved it. Kinda like that Song that was a B side for the third eye. God, I can't remember the name and I don't give a crap about looking for the title right now.

Re: Song Of The Day
Wakare no Uta Come on, that one was easy. It was also one of my first songs to get in touch with. Still love it. I always think it's from GD, though. or you mean "Slow Down", which I didn't know it exist, till now. . . hmm I discovered a new pillows song. . . . . again, haha.
edit: well, that's a fun song, actually

Re: Song Of The Day
Dude,
"Song of Farewell" (Wakare no Uta) and "Slow Down" are amazing songs. The Third Eye is seriously one of the pillows' best singles, for me.
Farewell has really cool lead guitar work, and I like the riff in they use to open and close the song (it kind of hints at the twin guitar work noted in "The Third Eye" and on My Foot in general). The solo is sooooooo emotional, and the chorus and its accompanying lead line are great.
Slow Down is just pure fun. Manabe is too cool on this one.
The b-sides off of The Third Eye don't get discussed much, which is a shame. They're not only solid, but really great songs in and of themselves, for me.

Re: Song Of The Day
There's always at least one song worth it per album, and generally at least one song worth it per single, so....

Re: Song Of The Day
I ranted about them back when, most people didn't care.
I care! I care! The Third Eye single is huge for me. It was the first release by the pillows I ever imported and I remember listening to those three songs over and over again. First off, The Third Eye is one the pillows best songs EVER. It's up there with the late 90's material. Second, those b-sides are amazing. Slow Down kicks all kind of ass, especially during the actual "slow down" part which leads into the final, sped up chorus. Wakare no Uta is just a beautiful song, which I kind of put more along the lines of Patricia or Boat House as far as feel goes. Wakare no Uta has a great melody throughout, the verse and chorus are both awesome. That disco kind of drumbeat that we saw on My Foot (song) is present and sounds awesome, and you can't deny that solo is friggin awesome the way Manabe comes in right after the chorus. LOVE this single.

Re: Song Of The Day
Wakare no Uta's solo is just oozing with passion. It's one of those solos I can't get enough of. Similar to the Tenshi Mitai Ni solo. Manabe just goes all out.
