I'm not calling you out on your stupidity because I'm "butt hurt over stupid shit". I'm calling you out on your stupidity because of your stupidity.

I'm generally happy around here. The last time I actually got pissed off was that little Nirvana discussion we had.
COMBINED with the fact that you continue to make retarded theories about the tracklisting...
With whom are you speaking about with this statement? Mare supplied a satisfactory answer for me. I didn't believe that was going to be the full tracklist either, I just hadn't seen it clarified yet is all I was getting at. No problem here.
Well, I'd assume that the "hoka" at the end of "Dance with God" isn't part of that song's title, in which case it means "and more." I strongly doubt this is the full tracklist.
I didn't notice the "and more" written in a language I don't understand. Thank you, and if you did say so somewhere else and I missed it, well then oops on my part. I didn't know if we were in the dark or not, I wanted to know if we had an answer to that one. I don't know what the ruckus is about. Don't hurt me >:[ Obama, I didn't do anything wrong, I swear!

^_^

Happily waiting for Ooparts... :groovin:

I was talking to A. Fish and Octave Flow. Even after Mare's post, they continued to make up little theories that made substantially less sense than what Mare came up with. It's not really a big deal.

I know, epic fail.

I'm the one usually talking about how you shouldn't take the internets seriously, and I went back against my own word. What a waste of energy.

There was another time I got pissed, but that was WAY back when I first joined. Mare and I got into an argument over Wake Up! (x3).

"Mad on the internet." That sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?

Guys, guys. No angries on my IM.

No fucking angries.

Seriously. Calm down. This thread's about a new album. We should be spreading the love.

^Nobody's mad or angry. :eh:

I kind of wish Fighting Pose had never been created.

That song is pure crap, even compared to what I heard on Pied Piper. The B-sides from New Animal were pretty damn good, and the pillows have great b-sides in general, so I was expecting Fighting Pose to be at least decent. I really do hope that Fighting Pose is just "that song", that crappy one that the pillows just needed as filler on the single. They've been releasing a lot of CDs/songs lately, so they just might be stretching themselves a bit thin.

I find anger to be a ridiculous emotion in the first place, so when it happens on the internet - I can't even comprehend it. Then again, everyone gets angry - but anyone who overtly displays anger will immediately lose a great deal of respect in my eyes. If you can't control such an emotion, you are quite simply weak-willed. Of course, I'm not saying we should all become Vulcans and stoics - you are no more weak-willed if you laugh or cry.

Anyway, has anyone wondered why this album's title isn't in English? Well - I guess it still appears to use Latin characters. Baby steps. Real English Words => Fake English Words => Are Japanese Words next? What the fuck is an Oopart anyway?

Plenty of people that I consider "strong" willed human beings have displayed anger as general traits of their personalities. Can you expand on what you mean by overtly displayed anger?

OOparts is not a "made up English word". See here:

I don't know how I can further explain on what "overt displays of anger" are. If you can't control your anger, you probably can't even control a border collie. You are therefore weak, and most certainly annoying. Of course, it's not the sole determinant of respect, but a lack of control over anger is an unquestionably negative trait.

It's not a fake English word, but it is made up, so perhaps we can still use that progression. Seriously, though - when Japanese people are using words that I don't even know of, something's going on.

OK, yeah. People who completely cannot control their anger are completely annoying, and no one wants to deal with them. But I can level with someone who looses their cool if its only every once in a while. Especially on the internet. I mean, a lot of the people who post on here are in someways still kids (somewhat) who haven't even adequately developed emotionally yet (I might fall into that category myself, now that I think about it). You have to realize, sometimes you're dealing with freshman high school kids or maybe even middle school students. I don't expect them to be rational at all. Even myself... I admit I let my emotions get the best of me from time to time, and I'm working on that. In the mean time, try not to loose too much respect for me, man.

Well, considering that the context in which the album title is being used ( it is the pillows 20th anniversary after all; the general theme/feeling Sawao has been expressing in his songwriting lately is... well, yeah), I think the term was used appropriately.

If the pillows released an album with a Japanese title, I would be very surprised. I don't think any album they have released has ever had a Japanese title.

I also didn't notice so we're on the same boat here.

When I mentioned Kool Spice, I was only pointing out to A. Fish that not every single album has had 11 tracks (could've mentioned PML but it's not much of a difference ).

Also, I very slightly hoped that 7 tracks in Ooparts would mean more substance was put to the songs (we all know that's wishful thinking :suspicious: ) but after reading Mare's post..well it's stated above.

I know my posts can be a little vague so cheer up Tidus and try not to take everything seriously. 8)

And I was only really talking about every album since Happy Bivouac. Which is about ten years worth of work. Ten years qualifies as quite a trend to me. Sorry.

Yeah, me too. I really wasn't reading the previous posts that well. You know, breaking one of those cardinal rules of posting. But considering I made this whole thread without noticing there was already talk about it elsewhere, you really shouldn't be surprised.
