Dig this:Ice pick, Black Sheep, naked shuffle. Even though I love Ice pick as is, I think it could sound equally cool with a piano filling in rythm guitar. Black Sheep is honestly is a japanesse redition of billy Joels piano man in a way. So supplying the piano there would be natural and awsome. Naked shuffle is just a crazy song but I love it because it reminds of a jazzy funk tune from the sixties. Filling in the piano and taking out both guitars (in jazz, guitars steal to much of the show) would create a soulfull fusion in the style of Ray charles and john coltrane. Dynomite!

off to try to play something else... (kono yo no hate made is harder than I thought it would be...)[/quote]

NAKED SHUFFLE--it's one of the most rhythm-y guitar songs of the pilllows. You know? The rest of their songs have their moments, but none move along guite like NAKED. It's slow, but the bass line and guitar effects make it go quickly.

Plus, the rest would sound dorky on piano... I think. I don't know, but if I ever listen to piano, it's either classical or jazz, so i couldn't imagine it very well as the pillow's songs are choppy for the piano.

Try to imagine for moment naked shuffle playing with no guitar. What you have is a perfect jazz setup for piano to fill in. Also try to put less emphasis on the actual rythm of the song and more on the style of sound it is creating. but hey this is just one mans opinion. Also if your into jazz check out some Mccoy Tyner or Thelonious Monk, they might help you understand what im saying.
