Re: the pillows - tokyo zombie - pied piper
I've managed to do pretty good at not overlistening to the new stuff as it comes out. I think the stuff I listened to the most was Ladybird girl because that song is RIDICULOUSLY good, and all of Wake up! because I was going to go hear the album live By this logic, I'm going to be listening the fuck out of these three singles and this album over the next month so that I'll be prepared to be singing along to every song again and get Sawao's attention. I'm still not burned out on the new songs, not even close. And I doubt I'll manage to burn myself out on the album, especially after I hear it live.

Someone had predicted that 'Zombie is the instrumental... And it is! Somehow it reminds me of Bad Dreams - which I like - but it's still very unique. I'm too expecting quite a lot from this album!

I vote Tokyo Zombie the most likely piece to be instrumental!

I actually did too. When I made the Good Dreams/ Bad Dreams Tokyo Babmi/Tokyo Zombie comparison

I think there are a lot of people that thought it was going to be an instrumental as soon as they saw the tracklist, it doesn't really matter who said it first, haha.

New Animal on MySpace is a little faster than on the single and in the video, it's strange sounding

Re: the pillows - tokyo zombie - pied piper
Paper Triangle doesn't really impress me, though. It seems empty to me. Not so much that it's soft and quiet, moreso that it just sounds like Sawao is playing one a guitar part and Manabe is playing a nice guitar part, but together it doesn't add up to anything I can feel that makes me go "Wow, that's a good song." I will say I am very confused as to why Metropolis is on the album. I liked it, but it is achingly b-side. I got to hear Finger post of magic and Mr. Droopy from a data cd a friend burned from the downloads here (he didn't know about winrar at first, lol, he thought he was doing it wrong, but we worked it out.) and Mr. Droopy is full-blown album quality to me. Finger Post was a very crazy song, it drags a bit, though, so I can understand it being a b-side. Holy crap, Mr. Droopy... I won't be able to hear Zombie until I get the album, so I can't comment on if I'll like it or not. TA12, I can't say I liked the tone of that post. I think we all know what harmony is, whether or not we find it "great success" or "epic fail" (or anywhere in between, Flying Spaghetti Monster forbid) is entirely subjective. Whether we like things depends on... gasp... whether we like them or not. If something doesn't click with us, then we don't need others buzzing around our ears pulling the trigger with their "knowledge." I'm sensitive like that as well, but I think I've been doing a good job of brushing that off as of late. I got emotional a lot on the internet and made an ass out of myself on many occasions back on the Newgrounds BBS, the first forum I went to. I had a few slipups here, too; it was always reactionary bullshit. Reign it in, man. For example, it'd be laughable for anyone to write a wall of text TO ME about "how amazing Paper Triangle is" and "how I should appreciate it more". Yes, quite laughable, someone please do so. So yeah, it's a taste thing. Plus, on the internet, all comments should be taken as an approximate; otherwise, we have "counterattacks" and hissyfits going into detail to explain the elaborate meanderings of our hearts when a simple pithy comment like "Hmm, I like that part because dadadada, but I could see where you might see otherwise" would have pulled up to the house about seven or eight, and I yelled to the cabbie "yo homes, smell ya later" looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to fill my throne as the Prince of Bel Air.

Re: the pillows - tokyo zombie - pied piper
It takes a little more than that to qualify as a bash, though. I can't speak for GR, but I'm estimating he merely meant that he hates the way the first part is arranged, that he wasn't trying to specifically claim an "untruth". It's fine, though, a silly little thing. We you... *Que the tail minute fify-seven seconds of Ted Leo & Pharmacists - Little Dawn* It's alright...
