Got all three shirts, one wristband, and one buster-kun keychain including phone strap.

I was up in the front, it hurts when I walk.

Also got my Mustang signed by them.

just busterkun wristbands and glow/black busterkun keychain plus logo phone strap thingys. and the noodles were selling their two newest albums and giving out free stickers.

not going into detail. but it was an amazing show. if you werent stuck in the annoying moshpit. kinda went like this:

Manabe looked like he was having the freaking time of his life. it was so amusing. I couldnt stop watching him throughout the whole set. =]

So, it looks like Sawao really did get his hair different. It looks pretty good. (judging from the pixelated picture that I see on this)

As I expected, the noodles set list was verbatim to the one from the October show. While I still feel they're a great band and very solid, they should get Junko back. She, her live is not the same without her.

the pillows did a good job. There were some hiccups. I believe it was Blues Drive Monster where Manabe messed up on the solo. Someone correct me if I'm wrong as I was operating on about 3 hours of sleep last night. My favorite song out of the night was Crazy Sunshine. I thought it was the one they played the best. Sleepy Head was the second encore and their final song, which was good.

I picked up the noodles shirt plus the Buster drumming shirt and a free noodles sticker. Buster-kun keychains for $10? No thanks! No pillows albums were being sold.

Some complaints: Culen and I agreed that the bass amp was total shit. When noodles was playing, you could barely here Ikuno's Rickenbacker cut through the mix. No different with Jun. I guess that's what you get when you use in house gear. Manabe was playing through a Marshall JCM 800 and Sawao was using a Vox though I'm not sure which model. Perhaps AC30? I'd have to investigate.

There was one really annoying fatass that had his pillows and noodles information all wrong. I heard him say shit like the pillows being around BEFORE 1989 and that they had a hand in developing the noodles. He would not let me correct me so ignorance is truly bliss.

Thankfully, there were no otaku cosplaying last night. There was one furry, and about three gothic lolitas. One of which ended up standing next to me during the pillows set and was just really hardcore about being a gothic lolita. The three of us, Kimi (wired_musac), Culen and myself, were left wondering why the fuck any one would come dressed like she did to a concert. Did I mention that for most of the pillows set, she would just looking at her phone?

I'm not really sure what made my night though. Either seeing that hardcore gothic lolita or seeing all the Insane Clown Posse/Twiztid fans in line at the Knitting Factory (I had to head there first to purchase my ticket for the Japan Night that's later this month).

Despite all that, I enjoyed the show.

noodles played shit off Cover Me Shakespeare and Metropolis with the exception of She,her. The pillows did FLCL plus Ladyshit Girl and Rock'n'roll Sinners. Maybe one other newer song but I don't remember right now.

I got a wristband and a tour shirt.

I lost my glasses there! O:

And I picked up a glass ornament that had fallen off of one of the chandeliers.

They played Wake Up! Dodo and Ladybird. IMHO, I liked Third Eye.

As for the pillows: Shin looked bored; Sawao looked a bit tired, but still hyper; Manabe looked extremely excited; and Jun just looked out of place.

Manabe was really awesome after the show.

He played my guitar for awhile and then signed it. 8)

Who threw that Tool shirt? I swear, Sawao was probably all "WTF IS THIS?".

Wow. I'd love to get my guitar played by Manabe or Sawao. Even shin or Jun. Ha. I'm going to the city early though so i can;t like carry it around all day, and I can't leave it in the car all day either, then I can't bring it into the venue and watch it while the showgoes on and watch everything esle...the only way would to be to convince one of the pillows to walk with me to the parking garage. Hopefully my brother brings his pickguard.

It seems as I predicted, all the same songs from teh last tour along with some new ones. Ah well, I'm still a happy camper.

I for one was disappointed regarding the length of their set...Was only about an hour long. I'm not really complaining, because it was still great, but I was expecting it to be closer to length of the Whiskey show 2 years ago. And perhaps it was foolish of me, but I was also kind of expecting a bit more variety than the familiar FLCL mix. :?

At least Third Eye was in there.

Where did this happen? The three of us end up leaving about 5 minutes after they kicked everyone out. We weren't looking to get anything signed (Kimi did want pictures though) but we figured they weren't going to come out side since they did have to get some sleep in before they hauled ass to Texas. Plus they would've been mobbed. :dizzy:
