Word. However...

Why the hell would someone go through all the trouble of faking some pillows event? Phone Numbers, email addresses, places, dates...it seems like a lot of work for something that someone's just hoping for. Really, who puts this much effort into a fake?[/quote]

I can assure you that Moletown did not fabricate any of this.

Just use Google yourself. You'll see tons of links, something that Moletown cannot simply do.

Oh and Golden, I wasn't aiming this specifically at you. But everyone who doubts it.

Definitely. But it's just such an easy target for some reason. :?

I will believe when they put the information on the home page, but I think its quite possible, it's not like they're doing a 100.000 people audience concert. It's a 10 million inhabitants city, there are probably some hundreds that would go to a pillows concert.

Hmm... I still don't trust them. Any forum blocked off from guests that has had run-ins with hoaxes before and suddenly pops in to announce this just doesn't get my vote. They've had plenty of time to work on this, if they've been planning it.

edit: and i don't see the tons of links that are supposedly available. All i see are forums that could possibly have retrieved the information from here or wherever else this rumour has spread.

Well, Bushi managed to find tons of info on all of this.

And I know they (Moletown) are just as unsure of all of it all just like Instant Music is. They just don't know.

Well, I'm not trusting it 100% but I'm not shrugging it off as something impossible.

$950 mootixcan pesos, my dear.

But the flyer is weird. Transportation??? WTF.

Upon futher investigation, the news about this has been around since mid March.

This forum seems to confirm it: http://www.frozen-layer.net/foro/index. ... 83566&st=0

Post 18, by a person named "escuando", says he confirmed it (translation):

Ok, today I confirmed that everything is completely true. Today the application for playing that the venue was approved. Everything.

Place: Circo Volador (Flying Circus)
Date: confirmed for June 18th
Pre sale starts now! Next week, you can start purchasing the first tickets. Cost: $90 pesos ($9.00 USD)

Point of sale: 4-UM Center Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas (Video game plaza), in front of the Latino Local tower #1

Ticket sales for those outside of the capital and international sales as well as futher information should contact: nekosoft@nekosoft.org

and if you have anymore doubts and what not, post them here XD"

Yeah. I did a rough conversion of that supposed $950 pesos they are charging. It comes out to $85 USD. I still don't get what they mean by transporation. I've been on the website of the place they are playing. It looks like a performing arts center. :/

The Pillows need to experiment with Latin rock.
