So AFTER the NYC shwo, my dad tells me I should've got tickets to the Boston show and I could've seen them AGAIN. :(

Why didn't he tell me this sooner!!!....

He didn't know they'd be in boston...I should've told him!

It was kinda weird because I was standing next to the band the entire time I was in the club before they played. At first I went out to the patio and they were all there and I wanted to snag a pic with the entire band, but my girlfriend wasn't there yet with her camera and by the time she did, they had already left. So I only got this with Sawao like 30 mins later, and he seemed to know less English then the last time I saw them in NY, because he was just bobbing his head back and forth and swaying his body like he was in a vibrating chair or something when I tried to say something to him... that coupled with his open mouthed/gang signs.... what a weirdo. Also, the whole band looked bummed out as hell, like they were depressed to be there, which also made me not try to go up and talk to any else of them. But the show was cool, so I dont know what to make of it.

Anime Boston is super lame and wouldn't allow posed pictures or photos of the concert, so here's a picture pillowsfan05 took of the back of my head while I was getting my please mr. lostman booklet signed. :3

Sawao shook my hand, and I told him I've been a fan for many years, and asked them to please come back to Boston sometime. And he said in really cute English "We will!" I wanted to melt.

I saw them all being escorted down the hallways and NOBODY recognized them. I did though; they're so tiny... and I'm only five feet tall so... they seemed like can't be much taller than me...

btw thanks for letting me cut in with you, pillowsfan05! lol

The obvious explanation is that Sawao got completely tanked to take the edge off.

He was like this coming out onto stage in NYC and his hair was all unkept, and he was wearing darker clothes than he has been lately. I remarked that he looked like an asian punk kurt kobain.

was he like this at any of the other shows?

I recognized them but was too speechless and in awe to do anything. It was pretty depressing getting only one item signed when I brought about 4 items. They should have given extra tickets for the amount of pillows merchandise you had not relating to FLCL. But at least I got my guitar and Walkin' on the Spiral dvd signed, and Manabe complemented me on my guitar and asked what model it was, which was worth the 4 drive up to Boston.

Does anyone know the name of the song they played after "New Animal" at Anime Boston. To be honest it didn't sound familiar.

No sorry, I was looking for you dressed as Ini Miney but didn't find you. I was around fourth in line because I didn't pre-register and couldn't get in the show  so I waited about 2 hours in line for the autograph panel. But at least I got to talk with the band and got my stuff signed. I was also surprised on how many Phoenix Wright people there were, I saw a bunch of people dressed up like Wendy Oldbag, Apollo Justice version of Phoenix Wright, Maya, Edgeworth, but I was surprised to see no Godot.

Edit: If you did see me I was the asian kid with the blue ibanez bass wearing the Ride on Shooting Star t-shirt with the buster-kun wristband.

AHHH I DID SEE YOU

I didn't dress like Ini Miney on Saturday. I was wearing the white beret though. I totally did see you though, or atleast I was very distracted by your bass.

I saw a few Godots. He's really hard to cosplay though I think. During the Phoenix Wright photoshoot on Friday, there were no Phoenixes, Apollos, or Edgeworths but a billion Ema Skyes and Mias. Hahahahaha.
