Re: the pillows 2010 US Tour!!!
I honestly don't remember how early I've showed up before... maybe 1-2 hours before doors open (which is at 7)? If you don't care about merch, you should be able to get a good spot even if there are quite a few people in front of you in line. And I don't believe the SF show is even sold out.

I was a bit late for the 05 show, showed a little after doors opened and the first warm-up band took the stage. Line was pretty long, made it in at around the time the second went on; but still was able to get merch, use the restroom, and still have a decent spot on the floor (prolly less than a dozen people in front of me, toward one corner). So I don't think you really need to be showing up more than an hour before doors open; maybe unless you really really want to be against the stage or whatever.
And I checked, you can still buy tickets, so the show isn't sold out. But I guess that doesn't mean it won't be come showtime tomorrow.

It's good that you can still buy tickets. I wanted a real ticket, and didn't want to wait at will call, so I'll be stopping by the box office to buy one once I fly in tomorrow. I called them and they said they were pretty sure they wouldn't sell out until close to the show time. If they ARE sold out when I get there I'm gonna have to price someone out of their ticket.

Re: the pillows 2010 US Tour!!!
Hm, yeah... It's possible that the 06 (typo'd 05 in my last post >>; ) show didn't sell out until the day of either, judging by the signs I remember they had posted.
But yeah, so you definitely want to stop by earlier in the day to buy a ticket. Showing back up for the show shouldn't be pressured; while the doors open at 7, the show's not supposed to start until 8.
...Which ugh, sounds kinda late now that I think about it, depending on how long Noodles' and the other two bands' sets are gonna be, and assuming the other two aren't being treated as warm-up acts and taking the stage closer to the doors opening at 7 then the show start time of 8.

Looking forward to seeing everyone later today at the SF show.
Just a quick question: How much did the shirts cost last time? And do they accept card or is it cash-only?

The tour site says shirts are $15, I think.
I'm guessing it's cash-only, not sure though.

Re: the pillows 2010 US Tour!!!
Um. Bags are probably fine, might just get searched. But I'm not sure.
Slim's doesn't have a camera policy, it's up to the band. So should be fine.
And apparently, don't worry about showing up too early if you're impatient or really finicky about having a primo spot :P There's gonna be some IM'ers near Slim's not too long after 3PM from what I'm told, so they'll be company (I'll be showing up a bit later, myself, though).

Cameras are allowed. Don't worry. Bags will be searched like last time.

Can't wait!! Hope this show will be as good as their 2006 show. Maybe it was because SF was their last gig in 2006, but that show was amazing. Beautiful Morning With You blew my mind!
