Re: Most underrated pillows song(s)?
The pillows have too many songs that get overlooked. I've seen a lot of praise for a lot of songs on this forum, but some deserving songs get ignored, from what I've seen. These are ones I feel should get a little more appreciation.
This is my Fashion. Short, upbeat, awesome added riff in the second half of the song...
Ame ga Futtekita You na ki ga Suru. This song has such a great vibe to it. Those two guitars together are something else. I never tire of this song.
Yoake ga Yattekita. This song almost seems a little ahead of its time. It almost feels like it should be on Kool Spice. The bass is prominent, which is nice, and the whole song is just relaxing.
Suicide Diving. Of all of the songs on Please Mr. lostman, this is the one I hear the least about. In fact, I never hear about this song. Shame. For me, it's the chorus that does it. Feels strangely heavy.
Wonderful Sight. How can you not love this song? Seriously, what needs to be said?
Skim Heaven. This is a fun song. It's catchy and upbeat, and Sawao makes a lot of noise. I don't know. I just don't think this song is liked much, but maybe I'm wrong.
Vain Dog (In Rain Drop). The guitars and the drums make this song. The solo is just epic-feeling. I'm always in the mood to hear this.
Come On, Ghost. The melody, the contrast between lead and backup vocals during the chorus, the solo, to the perfect ending... Must listen to this song now!
Winona. While it's not my favorite by any means, I do think it's underrated. It's just a good song, I think.
Tenshi Mitai ni Kimi wa Tatteita. I'm not sure this if this is really underrated or not, but it's sweet. It's like Kono yo no Hate Made's twin. One of Good Dreams' better songs.
Non Fiction. This is catchy. Really catchy. I can say no more.
Boys be Locksmith. For a B-side, this is awesome (like Wonderful Sight). The way the song progresses in the beginning and end, the chorus, it all fits together very nicely. This song definitely needs more attention.
Youngster (Kent Arrow). Most that I've seen do not like this song. I can not see why. It is (like many others) very upbeat. It makes you want to get on your feet and go do something.
A rather long list, but the pillows have a rather large discography. It's only natural so many songs would get bypassed. I hope you'll give these another try.
(This thread is old.

Sorry. Had to do it. FOR THE MUSIC!)
