I listened to it on Friday. It was 'okay' I like it a bit more than Discharge. The lyrics are eh though.

I can get behind this statement. I like Vacant House too. But I think Discharge was a bit better. It had Purple Moonlight and Dawn Speech, which were both better than most the songs on this new album. And the Engrish is killing me. Seriously, when it's an entire album full of these compositions, it gets more than a bit ridiculous. I feel like Sawao is just pulling stuff out of his ass now for the hell of it.

For me both albums have enjoyable tracks and 'crap' tracks, I still prefer the discharge tracks.

Nope. I'm sorry, but Angel, Deep Story, Music Creature and Silver Moonlight are pretty much a waste of time. Birthday is ok but we've heard it before. I'll stick up for burn bread, but that's it. Most people like Dawn Speech and Purple Moonlight so they really don't need representation.

Not trying to be inflammatory, just puzzled how Discharge could be preferred. I feel like Rehab, Youth Club and The Beautiful Lip are my least favorite of the album but they [i]soundly[/i] beat Angel, Music Creature and Deep Story.

You best not be trash-talking Deep Story. That's probably my favorite Discharge song (reading the lyrics in Japanese while listening to it gives the best effect).

Edit: Also, Rehabilitation ftw, and if anybody has the actual album (and IF there are Japanese lyrics for the songs included) I'd appreciate scans, I'm guessing that his intended messages are damn poetic on some of these songs.

Dude. Not everything sawao has pooped over the past few years are 'poetic' I mean SERIOUSLY! A lot of his recent work isn't even as good as his previous. He might just be singing in Engrish to appeal to kids like you who LOVE engrish. OMG1!!!1!! H3 Sp3@k$ 3NgR!$h! D@+s $0 kawaii!

Try reading it again and get back to me when you understand a concept of "intended" vs actual lyrics and me saying I'd like to know what the ideas were in their original language, as opposed to thinking I'm excited about the "poetic" nature of the crap Engrish for some stupid reason.
