Not a new My Foot, but a cool stong still. Gotta say that New Animal fits very well after this one.
edit: Maybe the intro thingy is an intro for the whole album? Like in Wake Up! x3 there was the weird sound that started and finished the album.
That's what I was thinking. That's why I called it an "introduction track" when I was describing it earlier. It would explain the... briefness of the song as well. That would explain it logically, anyways.
And I agree about it not being a "new My Foot". Still good, but not epic like My Foot. All that means, however, is that this album is going to be more new for us, which is a good thing.

Re: Pied Piper PV
Oh snap, new song already. TO THE LIBRARY!--- *FWOOSH* *SWOOSH* Nice visuals with the awesome puppet, camera angles, and shots of Sawao's dancing feet. The song itself didn't seem terribly remarkable, but it was great fun and made me do the same kind of seat "butt dance" that Tokyo Bambi did. A BUTT DANCE IN THE LIBRARY, NO LESS. I went and checked voice and bite me, as well. Mixed results with those two... Bite me was very "this is odd, I hate it/this is odd, I like it" and Voice, well, I think I kinda liked some of it, but I can't really remember it at all right now and I just heard it 15 minutes ago. That's not a good sign... Bite me could grow, don't really know about voice. New Animal still amazing.

I think now I know why this album is called Pied Piper. They've got a whole bunch of songs in their intro's that sound really cool and we think it's going to be something different but then they'll lead you with their regular pillowsness (i.e. Ladybird Girl, New Animal, Pied Piper).

Re: Pied Piper PV
I swore I posted here. Did I not hit submit? Anyway the song is badass. Sweet way to start an album, and it sounds like a cool mix of their late 90s stuff and the newer New Animal sound... I'm really digging it.

Re: Pied Piper PV
It's an all right song, I just wish they could have done more with the intro. But it is making me look even more forward to the actual album.

Re: Pied Piper PV
I can't wait to get a good rip of this from the bonus DVD, I'm gonna go avatar crazy with this video.
Edit: The first time I watched the video, I thought the puppet at the beginning was a dead THR dog, and sort of took it as "ok new direction now."

Re: Pied Piper PV
BWAAAAAAAAH!!! this album is gonna fucking rock!!! yesssss! um yeah... my only qualm was it was too short. Needs more length for moar rocking. There new stuff has sorta a grungy/pop punk thing going, but in a good way not a "down with disfunctional relationships!" kind of way.

Re: Pied Piper PV
i think its extremely good compared to the stuff they have put out since Penalty Life. Its very refreshing to hear newer material with older influences. beautiful. Thank goodness I preordered Pied Piper

WAY TO GO BUFFET, WE'RE GOING TO LISTEN TO THE KIDNAP MUSIC BECAUSE OF YOU ... And I'm really surprised how well I came up with the kidnap music thing with pied piper, it's full of lol and win.

Re: Pied Piper PV
This is easily the best song of the recent videos, if only for the astounding intro and the odd rhythm during the verses. And the chorus is downright good as opposed to serviceable ("New Animal" and "Tokyo Bambi") or awful ("Ladybird Girl").
Hell, this is probably their best track since MY FOOT.
