College, busy, etc. Killing myself working on homework and studying for midterms. You know how it goes. Psyched about the pillows, saw them in Kyoto over the summer.

ah. so jealous. but they're still good live?.. Ive only seen them at lamoid concerts like ACen and the drama-packed Whisky.

Yeah, I pretty much made the journey from pillows noob to ultimate fanboy in about 3 years? I expect reports of tomorrow's concert from all you kids going (consider it homework lol).

After reading of Mares and Greys little Kyoto adventures I'm dying to see The Pillows live. Too bad they only seem to play live in Japan and USA. I would have to go all the way to the edge of this world (tee hee) to see them. Better start saving money for a trip. Too bad the plain tickets are something like 1000€ (1500 for American fellows). But then again, I've always wanted to see Tokyo...

i really have faith on they playing if not more, one or two old songs. not exactly kool field of living spice, but they could spit out a cherry, maybe a shiroi or tiny boat. i mean, it's the third time they're stepping u.s. land. i believe they already know we would die to have some deep non-flcl-new stuff.

and yet, my aunt lives in california, but i can't leave brazil to go there to see them, even more now, in middle of college

but if, and when a 4th time comes, if the conditions agree with me, i plan on trying luck on a trip pursuing them

Well guys, I've said it before, and I'll say it again, a lot of Japanese fans are jealous of what we get: the chance to talk to the band members/take pictures with them/get stuff signed; certain songs from the "FLCL period" that they never play live in Japan, etc.

In short, the show will be great, don't whine about what they play lol.

You know, I've been kind of thinking the same thing. I mean, how often do the pillows play stuff like ROSS or Blues Drive Monster or Crazy Sunshine in Japan? It's always a case of wanting what you don't have. We want to hear the shows they play in Japan, and those fans want to hear the shows they play here.

Anyways, someone better get a set-list up tonight. I want to see what you guys rocked out too.

I still haven't decided what their set list is going to be. But rest assured, I will switch out Sawao's with mine.

Also, if anyone still cares about meeting up at said Starbucks, the official greeting is "Nippon Hakkyou".
