Oh, that was you too, lol! I didn't know that. I jsut remeber talking with you for a minute about Propose being on the setlist but they didn't play it. Hopefully this time around with someother songs they played during the Lostman go to Yesterday tour.
So it was a month off, my information I got in August. As long as they hit up a Northeast city, I just might be able to make the show. unless it's between the 20th and 30th of march, during which I WON'T BE IN THE COUNTRY
It's... Not looking good for you, then >>; Because that's sounding like the dates they're going to be touring here.
SXSW is the 12th-18th. I was thinking they'd probably kick things off there again, and seem to be right considering...
According to what Rhino just posted, The Stereo Future say they'll be playing with the pillows and Noodles in Seattle on the 28th. This is probably the last show of the tour.
So, I'd say it's looking fairly strongly like they're gonna play SXSW, then play a couple shows in the Northeast (probably at least NYC and Chicago again) and then play the west coast (probably at least LA, San Fran, and Seattle again), ending with the Seattle show on the 28th.
<_< ....Good news for me at least, since it's now looking like I'll be back in California for my spring break, and will probably be there from the 22nd-30th.

^^; Well, my speculation is purely on the assumption that they'll be playing the cities they did on the last tour, since all of them were sellout shows. But this could also make it more likely that they try a new show or two, like Atlanta or somewhere.

Hoenstly, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried several new venues. Like I said, they have about two months in between their next show on the 17th and the one on April 27th. I think it's plausible they could do a much larger tour. It would defintiely promote WUx3's release on ITunes, and casual/new fans that go to these shows would probably be tempted to download them. So I think it'd be in their best interest to deifntiely expand their tour.
It'd be in the fans' best interests too.

This sounds like good news for me
I live in NM and well, Texas is just next door, so that makes it super convenient for me to see The Pillows.
My uncle lives in Pampa so I will stop there to pay him a visit, then just head out the next day and stay in Austin for the 3 days(Or whenever The Pillows play, but maybe I'll stay to see the other bands)
This is really awesome news
You think they will sell The Pillows CDs?(Never been to a concert )

Can't say for sure. Last time they were selling copies of the US release of My Foot, but things are different now. They had a deal with Geneon, and they're who printed and distributed it in the US (and it were copies of Geneon's US printing of the album they were selling on the tour).
Wake Up x3 was released in the US via the iTunes store directly by Avex (their new Japanese label). But a tour is a god damn perfect time to be selling CDs, so who knows. Maybe they'll bring some Japanese stock of WUx3, maybe they'll have some english copies printed.

hey! does this mean they're touring with the noodles again? Rock on! I can finally see those girls live.
I saw their Chicago show at acen in 05 but noodles didnt open for them there, instead it was some crappy american anime theme song cover band.
unless they do the same thing again... acen plugged themselves at the 06 show. Hopefully they wont be playing there again... I dont want to go to acen just to see the pillows.... And I really dont want to rub sholders with some dude dressed like inuyasha during the show.
edit: looks like acen's honored musical guests is some j-hip-hop girl duo. So I'm pretty sure chicago's show is safe.

(Chicago) It really pissed me off when I a) saw at least twenty Naruto headbands in the line and b) when they came out afterwards chanting "A CEN CEN!" and threw out panda toys.
I mean, I got to love pillows stuff largely thanks to FLCL, and I don't hate anime, but I wish we could get more than just the "NYAR-RU-TOOO" crowd at Chicago shows.
