When I was in Tokyo, I was fortunate enough to do a karaoke duet with Kashima. Guess I was in the right club at the right time. We were rocking Morning Musume like nobody's business. Unfortunately, he was freakin' drunk, and afterwards I had to hold his hair back as he vomited into a toilet. I've never understood why people drink.

I have a similar story...

Last summer when I was in New York visiting a friend from my senior year, I saw Sawao and Jun in the back of a cab that stopped as I was about the cross the street. Jun must have noticed my shirt (good dreams Neko Skull) because he tapped Sawao on the shoulder and pointed over at me and my friend. Well, Jun opened the door and I noticed Sawao was paying the taxi driver and I assumed they were going to grab a bite to eat or something, so me and my friend, Nika just continued across the street. We went into a CD store and not more than 2 minutes later Yamanaka and Suzuki walk in the store. Sawao approaches me and says "you...like the pillows?" "Yes," I reply. I noticed Jun had a huge grin on his face (he smelled like pot) and he kept winking at my tall, Russian friend. Sawao said "ok. come with us," so we followed them outside where Jun hailed another cab and we all got in. By this point I was getting really jittery anticipating a huge pillows roadie dinner or something cool like that. Instead, they took us up to their hotel room and we all got trashed. After half a bottle of sake and a few lines I crashed. To my disbelief when I woke up, Jun and Sawao were gone and my friend was dead on the floor. I looked at my watch and realized that the pillows' show would be starting in no less than 20 minutes, so I scrambled out of there and over to the venue with just seconds to spare. The show was super, but afterward Jun and Sawao wouldn't speak to me. Manabe did cup my balls though when I asked him to sign my Nine Miles CD.
