Re: Could White Incarnation be any better?
IM's new generation haven't talked enough about this album. I'm listening to it right now, right here like this, tonight. . this night . .. and it's a good night. . hahaha So anway I'm listening it directly from the CD. (which has a pretty nice cover, very warming and soothing) So I always wondered what the title meant. "White Incarnation" I found the answer in the little booklet: "When you see it, you talk about its impression. But it really has no color, no form. It can be anything, go anywhere WHITE INCARNATION--------That's what the PILLOWS want to be." "WHITE INCARNATION. He follows a plane when he's happy, rains when he's sad, covers the sun when he's jealous and thunders when he's mad. He might just disappear with no reason. But you never get tired of watching him." No need to guess, it's the obvious. White Incarnation = a cloud.

No, I wasn't kidding. Hey, I wasn't the only one who didn't know at first. Of course, it's all too clear now.

White Incarnation was a really nice album. Easy on the eyes and the ears.

Re: Could White Incarnation be any better?
I don't blame him for not liking it, as far as new albums go it's one of the weaker links in my collection. My favourite songs on it are Tonight, Good Night, and Our Halley's Comet. She's My Sister and Sullivan maybe. The others are just ok. They really hit their stride after White Incarnation with Kool Spice and Living Field, 80% of their 'hits' from that era are on those two albums.

Talk like this is pointless. While your favorites are what you said above, someone else could have favorites which you only considered "OK".
There is a consensus as to what the best are among fans, but on a personal level it is completely and absolutely retarded to tell someone what's good and what's not. Personal opinion? Cool. If your opinion happens to fall into some sort of greater consensus, you probably feel even better.
And lets be honest with ourselves, do we really care about each others' personal preference in songs around here? *Looks at the Bad Dreams discussion.* No? Thought so.

Re: Could White Incarnation be any better?
If talk like that is pointless then there's nothing to discuss. Obviously, someone could have an opinion about the album vastly differen't than my own, that's kinda why were here, to see the opinions of other Pillows fans.
Oh, the irony. Or is it hipocracy?

EDIT: I admit my post failed epically in the "talk like that is pointless" department, though. Like, really epically.
