sawao does some surprising stuff. he actually plays slightly more difficult lines in this album than usual (i.e. playing riffs while singing, such as in nonfiction and gazelle city, and switching chords more frequently, such as in kuchuu resister and degeneration)

overall the songs are all pretty danged easy, but they're a ton of fun.

most fun to play:

rock'n'roll sinners
air resister
nonfiction
how accurate was I with my MY FOOT tabs  ?

which ones did you do? for sayonara universe, we were all on the right notes, but surprisingly WAY off on the intro. i had been right on an assumption of --777- and --977-- instead of ---232 and ---432, but i converted to your style because i thought that since it was easier it would be how it was done by manabe hahaha. for the most part, amazingly accurate. i don't want to give away everything, because then people wouldn't buy the book themselves. let's just say some parts were spot on, but most parts were a little bit different. i was surprised with in sayonara universe where he did the chord 557675 just like you said it was. that was sweet.

There are some surprises, stylistically and positionally in every song, but the songs aren't really all that hard. I think everybody should buy the book. It's great.

EDIT: HOLY FUCK

can anybody play this shit?
--3-9- FU~CK!!!

I've done sayonara universe, march of the god, mighty lovers, nonfiction, and the solo to rock'n'roll sinners.

fret position doesen't matter a huge amount. there is only a slight diffrence in the timbre of the string resonance if it's 1 string down/up :P. the only problem I could see is if your guitar's intonation is terrible or if you are transvered over more than 1 string. the latter doesn't matter much either if you have some death metal level amount of distortion. bah, who cares about that, I'm just trying to sound smarter than I really am .

anyways, I think the --3-9- might have been an error some how? that's the same thing as --34-- or ---89-. I don't think I can even stretch that far.

well, awesome. when I stop having to sell organs and limbs to pay for tuition, I will definitely be buying both band scores.

no, it clearly says --3-9- in a specific song, followed by more 5- and 6-fret stretches. i about dislocated my pinky trying to play it
