Penpals are a neat band. I think they would probably have a broader appeal than bands like puffy ami yumi as well. :x

Nice job getting the Pillows some more exposure. Honestly, if it weren't for FLCL I wouldn't have discovered them (I know you all hate the FLCL-Pillows connection, but at least I've gone beyond that facet and purchased their actual albums.) I have a friend at the University of Portland who has a show where he plays a bunch of foreign bands; he's played a good amount of the Pillows’ music, and now a bunch of people request their music (Last Dinosaur in particular) during the main radio shows. :groovin:

:)

Last Dinosaur is an excellent choice for radio. It leaves a deep lasting impression. Funny Bunny and Carnival would be well suited for radio as well.

Oh yeah.
Remember I told you I ordered it?I got it about a week after, so I got the lyrics to the whole single.

SO if you want I can give you the lyrics unless you got the single yourself.

And yes, the single mix is awesome.

Actually, unless I'm very mistaken, NPR played a Pillows songs (or at least a clip) like 3 years ago. There was some feature they were doing (sorry, I don't know which show) where they interviewed teenagers. One girl said her favorite band was the Pillows. I'm pretty sure they played a song (maybe ROSS).

Has this already been discussed?
And she chooses "Pantomime," by The Pillows, a Japanese pop-punk band. The song sounds like a fine mix of...wait. What the hell?!
Don't you realize what the cast does after their part of the show?
