It's hard to choose between PML, LB, RH, and HB.

These are 4 albums (released in a row) that were nearly flawless. Sure [b]Like a lovesong [/b]can get to you, [b]Borderline Case [/b]sounds a bit weird, [b]Our love and peace [/b]may seem a bit slow, and, well, can't think of anything wrong with PML; but neverless they are all great albums. When's the last time an American artist released 4 awesome albums in a row?

Living Field, Please Mr. Lostman, and Happy Bivouac are the top three, in my opinion. Little Busters and Thank You, My Twilight are just below those three. Fuck, I should just make a tier system for pillows albums.

Borderline Case and Our Love and Peace are some of my favorite songs. For some reason all the songs you guys don't quite like are my favorites. You all suck. It makes me happy.

Yup, tier systems are great, that's how I've got my musical preferences classified. The Pillows, Queen, and The Smiths/Morrissey are tier one (though the Pillows have perhaps recently nudged ahead), They Might be Giants, Paul Simon/Simon &Garfunkle, Sparta Locals, and Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros take the second tier, third is a whole bunch of stuff, including Rufus Wainwright, The Clash, the Damned, The Who, Talking Heads, Ben Folds, The Decemberists...err, um, ya, stuff like that. Then I suppose all the stuff I sorta like would be the next tier, stuff I'm indifferent to would be one down, and then finaly the music I despise. Yup.

I love it, too. It's just some other people might find it strange.

I just can't understand this fellating of Living Field. All the songs are good IMO, but I think some of it is a little too slow and have no really memorable moments, "Something like a Romance" and "Sunday" mainly. I also don't really like "Happy Slave" and "The Killing Field". I don't know, the overall style of the album seems a little weird to me.

I would of used to agree with Blazing here, but i'm listenig to Living Field more lately, and it really is a great album.

People don't seem to appreciate the best aspects of Living Field. Well, I dunno.. Maybe I shouldn't talk because I can't seem to appreciate the best aspects of Happy Bivouac - I pretty much think it's their weakest album by far. I find the album to be their most simple work, and although some songs are pretty good, none of them are mindblowing or epic in any sense, except maybe Funny Bunny. I find that the vocal lines are the only thing the album has going for it.

Trust me its got a lot more going for it than just funny bunny.

Do me a favor go back and listen to HappyBivouac. Pay attention to the closing of Happy Bivouac (the song), the opening drums of RUSH, the vocals in Last Dinosaur, the art of sound arangement in our love in peace, the marriage of sound betwwen shin-chan's drums manabe's guitar in crazy sunshine, the back up vocals in Back seat Dog, the entirety of Kim Deals chorus ( its like flying), the heart felt beauty of funny bunny, the incredible simplicity of Beautiful Morning with you as it continues to rock you forever even after finishing the album, feel the unbridal raw Rocking of ADVICE, and finnally last but not far from least hear carnival. Don't just listen try to hear what its saying. If you do this you will hear one of a few perfect songs in the history music. More than any other song carnival is on diffrent level than even most exceptional music.

Do what I have said and you will see the light.

That's weird because Living Field and Happy Bivouac are my favorites alongside Please Mr. Lostman. They both kick ass in totally different ways.
