After listening to this single many times, I have to say this is a slight improvement. Nonfiction is pretty good, nothing mind blowing. Heart is There...if only more of their songs were like this. Amazing song. I loved it. I like how it's more upbeat than the original and still retains that reggae tone. I like the drums a lot, too. My Girl...eh. Not very interesting or great, and I didn't like the part when Sawao starts going "My girl". So, for me:
Nonfiction: B-
Heart is There: A
My girl: D+

Sage, I disagree with you in almost every way possible.
Nonfiction is great. Most of it is kind of standard for the good recent pillows stuff, except for the slowdown, which I think adds an ace layer to the song, makes it much more entertaining than a lot of their recent stuff. Heart is There is a completely unnecessary and useless rendition of Manabe's song. And for the last time, "HAAT ID DEARH!" is down syndrome at its finest. Although I admit Sawao's take on the vocals are okay. My Girl is pretty excellent. I like that there is no beat whatsoever and I hope that the album takes a turn as different as this.

Single came today with a poster of the single cover. Pretty cool.
I already like Nonfiction pretty well and have expressed my reasons why, so...
I like Heart is There, but I think It would have been cooler if they had stayed with the feel of the first 15 seconds or so instead of switching to that disco beat.
I haven't completely made up my mind about My Girl yet.

Damn, it came with a poster? Now I really wish I had ordered it. Even though I have way too many pillows posters...
I think the single was a complete success. Nonfiction is still growing on me, and Heart is There and My Girl were great b-sides. Heart is There did the original justice and My Girl was a nice change of pace from the pillows' current up-beat style, even though I think Sawao goes a little overboard with the vibrato vocals.

I don't know about you guys, but I really liked Heart is There. I liked nonfiction as well. The only song that bored me and felt repetitive and out of place was My Girl. Overall, not a bad single.

What the hell?
Maybe it's because I ordered both the single and the DVD... but that
dosen't make any sence.
Well, I better atleast get the single and DVD first press.
Oh yeah and a poster!

The downloaders may have heard the single days before we did, but WE GOT A BITCHIN' POSTER! OH YEAH
Or at least you'll hopefully get one. Did you preorder? I'm not sure what the stipulations are on getting a poster.

I thought about downloading it, but then decided to wait it out
the old fashioned way.
All I need now is the Third Eye single, and I can have my special prize!
YOU CAN'T DOWNLOAD THAT!
EDIT: Yes, pre-order.
I bought it just seconds after talking with you...

Gah... I have never gotten a poster with any of my preorders. I think I hate Amazon Japan now.
