Uh, yeah. Name one way it's different. All of the parts are essentially the same.

The guitars sound stale and not as upbeat and fast in the mu-mu version and the "shooting the J" or whatever part has a weird guitar reverb sound behind it. It's also missing most of Manabe's riffs and the solo is done by a keyboard. It's not as good as the Pillows version, sorry.

I didn't say it was as good. I just think it's getting unfair criticisms.

Just keep in mind that pretty much all of the songs on the compilation are similar to this. They don't have the higher production values that a song on an album or single would. For example, Yoko's "Permanent." Its production simply isn't good enough for a noodles album, but it's a cool song nonetheless.

I agree that the pillows' version is better, but it's not really a fair comparison. Mu-Mu-'s version is great for what it is.
