Damn straight. The Third Eye is the perfect example of a song with staying power. That was the first single I ever ordered and played it nonstop, and it's still in rotation on my iPod. The song's right up there with the best from the "Holy Trinity".

Single is holding up pretty well so far. I'm still enjoying the songs, and Gloomy Night has grown on me a little.

I enjoyed the Movement single a lot better than the PV. It sounds a lot more clear. I enjoyed it, mainly only the beginning. Afterwards, it pretty much died for me.
The second song was alright. Just "meh" The last one I couldn't really stand, I pretty much just stopped listening half way through it. Over all I give this album a C for keeping my attention for a few moments.

Yeah, not a huge fan of Split Emotion, although the chorus is pretty catchy. Gloomy Night is highly reminiscent of Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! for me (which is a good thing, for the most part).

And Movement itself is so far withstanding the test of time: I still consider it one of my favorite songs from their more recent material.

Also, in loose relation to the hubbub about relative greatness of pillows songs: I can't even compare these new releases to the old "classics". No, it's not because they have untouchable, god-like status: it's because they're from different stylistic eras. If I try to compare, say, Movement and Like a Lovesong, I wind up only thinking about the differences between the current pillows and the pillows circa 1998. The songs themselves are almost irrelevant at that point.

I feel like at this point, I'd be better off buying the Movement single instead of Horn, Again.

All three songs on the single are pretty strong, but I still think Movement is the strongest. Coupled with Sad Fad Love, I have hopes for this album. Sad Fad Love is one of my favorite new-ish pillows songs.

The single debuted at #8 on Oricon the day it was released. But for the week it earned a spot of #18.

Avex is NOT HAPPY about this reduction in MONEYS.

I just like to keep track of how the releases do on the charts these days.

I know... It's not even a big drop off in sales. Well, a small one I guess. It fared worse than the last four or so singles in terms of initial sales, but we all know that the music is what really matters.

Oh correction, debuted at #11, not #8.

Also, New Animal vs. Movement. I think I like "Movement" more than "New Animal". But the b-sides make it hard to decide which I like more! The fact that the A-side tops NA makes me happy.

You'd be best off downloading both. The album preview of Horn, Again sounded intriguing.

The truth. Download both. If you ever feel the need to buy them after that (for whatever reason), then you can go for it.
