I was playin around on my acoustic today and started recalling Bran New Lovesong.

 Re: Song Of The Day
Such an awesome song. I love the way the music and vocals start almost simultaneously.

 Re: Song Of The Day
Blues Drive Monster. Because that song is even better lyrically than the translations floating around would have you think. The BDM blows away the speakers that only whispered with its breath (i.e. a rock song blasting out of the radio that normally plays boring pop tunes), saving a certain shounen locked in a room full of keys (it did not "shout at the top of its lungs what the speakers only whispered"). The BDM is not struck down by the "era's chosen hero," it IS the "hero this era longed for," and is the one being implored to strike something down. You see this clearly in the third verse, where he talks of the adults aiming their pistols at its giant throat, but to think that their shots would hurt it is "omoiagari," or arrogance. The BDM, rock music, will smash through the wall of illusions. BDM was the very first pillows song I heard, and it honestly changed my life. I just finally realized the mistakes in the translations I had read when listening to it last night, and getting the meaning of those lines made the song fully click for me. Interestingly, it was like having my head acknowledge what my heart already felt from the music. Dat rebellious rock feel, dat hope that music can impact a corrupt world in a positive way.

That was how I felt when I listened to Sleepy Head.
Seriously! That song is amazing! I LOVE the sudden drop in music in the middle of the song, follow by this awesome riff.
It leaves me all, hot and stuff.

 Re: Song Of The Day
I should also fix a bunch of my shitty old translations, like Koi no Spy ni Ki wo Tsukero!, which has some glaring errors. I need to brush up on my Japanese anyway, maybe rolling through the discography and redoing translations will be good practice.
