 Re: The Predators are BACK
Thanks for theupload guys! Have to say though, I'm not all that impressed by this mini album. They just seem to be having fun more than writing quality songs. But I wasn't expecting too much to begin with. Shoot the Moon is probably my favorite, if not only for the wierd little "wee-oo-wee-oohs" Sawao makes. I also looked on their MySpace, and theirs a blog up saying that the EP will be released on US iTunes on October 28th.

 Re: The Predators are BACK
I've listened to it now, and sadly i'm not completely blown away. The strongest tracks are the ones I've already heard, with the exception of WILD TIGER. LIVE DRIVE is still my favorite. And RnR Lay Down loses a lot of its awesome without that PV playing with it. I'm not saying this one is bad or anything, it's maybe a 6 out of 10. It's okay.

Yes, RnR Lay Down was a let down without the PV... it's too boring. Shoot the Moon, Live Drive, and C.R.S are my favorites. Everything else is meh. Sadly, I can't say Wild Tiger is a good song. Some of the songs seem very badly composed and too loudly ABABA. Seriously, I think Wild Tiger is on par with a Jonas Brothers song, in terms of my ability to listen without getting bored and uninterested.

 Re: The Predators are BACK
The singles are enough to make me not want it. Both Shoot the Moon and RnRLD are ho-hum tunes, although Live Drive is reminiscent of the better tracks from Hunting. 1 out of 3 does not make me jump to hear the album.

YOU BEST BE TROLLING. Wild Tiger was the only song besides Live Drive and CRS that sounded like their old stuff. Island and Gun Lock were a real big letdown. They were way too slow and I bet Nakayama was bored playing them. His playing style seemed like he didn't care.

 Re: The Predators are BACK
Live Drive is still the best track on there. C.R.S. is alot better with the album mixing rather than radio>youtube. I still like Rock'n'roll laydown alot though it does plod alot. Wild Tiger is fun. Shoot the moon and Gun Lock are pretty meh. Island is better every time I listen to it, and it does sorta make the album feel more solid to have a downtempo song like it on there. I didnt like it at first because its like "WTF? slow song in my PREDATORS album? GTFO!"
overall. The album tries much harder than HUNTING!!! to be feel like a solid album, and it does. I'm enjoying it, but I feel like I would be happier if they just took out the meh songs from both albums and made a real album instead of two minis.
and my vote for MVP is Shinpei, the drumming on this album just rocked. I liked the sounds of the guitars better than HUNTING!!!. The tele was cool but Sawao's new cyclone made it sound like a little bitch. Im not too familiar with bass but I did like the slightly fuzzier basslines on this album. But the drumming was just too cool it had too many awesome moments and really was the icing of the album for me. The breakdown in live drive alone would have sold me the album.

Island has a totally unique sound that Sawao hasn't put out with even the pillows. It has a similar nice "texture" to it as Texan Daily Life. I don't totally LOVE the song, but you gotta give them props for doing something that isn't totally "HEY LETS MAKE A GENERIC POP PUNK SONG AGAIN."

maybe it's because Sawao didnt compose Island
