Hey, this is sorta off topic, but has anybody noticed that Lo-Fi Boy is similar to New Animal?

No, but thanks to you bringing it up, I just reminded myself how awesome New Animal is going to be when it comes out.

I don't think it sounds like Lo-Fi Boy at all. This one has a low-key, sort of melancholic verse, and the phrases are longer and more connected.

You know, after listening to both of them, they do sound similar, but, New Animal is better I think.

Hi all. Concert was great. This is my first chance back at school on a computer since then. (No internet at home currently)
I couldn't find the Taco Bell
Don't know what happened there, I'll check google maps again tomorrow. I saw Overburn outside after the show, and once inside in the merch room, but I didn't say anything. I'm kinda sheepish sometimes IRL.
Uh, I yelled New Animal twice or so after every song in the beginning of the set. Mr. Droopy was a pleasant surprise, I liked them both, but Mr. Droopy stuck out more with everyone singing in the chorus lol. I especially liked how New Animal started, but I can't really remember it right now.
Oh, and we got stopped in the Lincoln Tunnel by a cop because I was taking pictures on the way home. Forgot all about the Patriot Act, lolz. Good thing he only deleted the ones I took and not the whole card.
I got Dodo shirt and Ross shirt, both noodles cds, and a keychain. Dad found a wristband outside.
:edit: Also called out Stand Up and Go and Good Morning Good News.

Patriot act is an act meant to help fight the war on terrorism in the states.
basically limits a lot of rights we had (guessing from what the "activist" from my school yells about). but screw politics. Sounds like you all had a great time.
Cloudy, you didn't have to be so sheepish towards overburn. I know he's a tallish white guy with the goatee, but he's awesome. (<3)

Ah
I pay little attention to the government these days. They've lost my respect a long time ago.

I think you may be doing it wrong. Aren't we supposed to be paying attention, seeing obscene shit like the Patriot Act getting passed, and then peaceably assembling in protest against it?
Public apathy helps our government push terrible legislation upon us.
"I don't care."
-"Ok, well we'll be taking your civil liberties away now"
"wait wat"

I've heard people say stuff like that lot....being apathetic about government dealings and all. Then I moved to San Francisco and heard the complete opposite from...well everyone.
I think there has to be a balance when it comes down to the way we view government dealings. Understandably they are a government designed and "designated" to serve us, but then again there are times when we should make our voices heard (like the patriot act. lousy politicians.) Apathy is what makes them stronger (like GR says pretty much).
And I really like the sound of New Animal. I can't wait to hear it in studio quality.

Well, seeing as I'm only 16 and not important to this country for 2 years, it doesn't matter.
I'm really excited for the single myself....
I want to see what they do to it in the studio. Live was just awesome, I really hope they don't perk it up with studio shmoopy too much.

haha brother you're never too young to be able to have a say in things. I think thats a problem in our teenage youth...they just dont care enough. oh well =/
Haha I agree on the shmoopy stuff. Like in tokyo bambi had some of those fancy synth sounds during the solo that i didn't dig too much. Since this one really sounds like a departure from their extra poppy stuff, I hope they just do guitars, bass, and drums. Just the essentials because its already sounding freaken awesome. No need to fancy it up with wierd synth noises.
