If you can't hit the note, then quit being so loud and shouty. Focus on sounding decent, rather than "OHH REARHH, PASSION!!~~"

I'd say we should stop whining though...he sounds fantastic on some songs live, and shitty on others, and anybody who's ever had to do vocal performance knows that there are a ton of things that can affect your voice.
