Sawao should yell more. We don't get any daggum Sawao-gasms anymore. Anyway, I like this album more after every listen. I just hope we still like it one month from now when the novelty of not being disappointed by a new pillows album wears of.

Yeah like I said I kind of wish Emerald City was a bit more intense like Last Dinosaur/No Substance/Century Creepers.

I really dig Emerald City BECAUSE it takes their typical Last Dinosaur/Century Creepers/Sono Mirai song and approaches it from a more reserved, dare I say mature, direction.

This album is awesome.

Better than anything since My Foot easily, IMO. I was jumping for joy on many occasions, but "Nobody Knows what Blooms" blew me the fuck away.

I am very happy right now.

*Also, I didn't notice how AWESOME Sad Fad Love was until I heard it on this album. So glad they didn't choose Rodeo Star Mate.

Did anyone feel the rhythm guitar over powered Manabe's awesome lead playing on this album? Especially in the first six tracks of the album. I listening to it in my car, haven't used headphones yet... but the rhythm just seemed too fucking loud. Especially in Limp Tomorrow, Lily, and Biography.

lol I thought the sounds were all particularly well-balanced, especially when I listened with headphones. Might just be your speakers and the EQ setting you have it set to. Listen to shit on flat settings, albums are mixed to what is meant to be the ideal EQ already.

Yah, my headphones broke when I was going to listen to this album yesterday, so I've just been listening to the album in the car through the iPod cord. I'll buy some new headphones.

Dude, this weekend was so perfect. Everything went so well... but this album complimented all of that perfectly. I'm so happy.

The drums in Limp Tomorrow are pretty loud. It sounds awesome. I keep listening to the album and I'm still digging Nobody Knows What Blows. But I couldn't help but notice that the lead guitar in Biography is great. Also, am I the only person who didn't like that much of Sad Fad Love?

Are you typing Blows instead of Blooms on purpose, Johnny?

Hot damn, this album is fresh! This doesn't sound like much of their other stuff at all, so the comparisons between Horn Again and My Foot/Good Dreams aren't making much sense to me. Limp Tomorrow and Lily, My Sun are my favorite tracks here. Really glad the single wasn't misleading.

Lily, My Sun has lately been reminding me of Winona a lot.
