That simply is not true at all.

If he saw an avatar in passing on your LJ, how is he to know you're the one who created it? I think in most cases people haven't made their own avatars, and I know I don't see the harm in just taking any avatar I see, and if somebody mentions it, I'll ask if it's okay to keep it up, there's no reason to get angry at the guy.
But hey, how 'bout them pillows, eh? They play quite the rock music.
I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on that DVD.

I put a link to the new single on facebook and my friend who normally isn't into the pillows liked it a lot... so it kind of made us start chatting again. I haven't seen her in years! It was cool; she likes "Across the Metropolis" a lot.

Not here, please.
I mean, I had fun making those silly 300 avatars from the back of the Scarecrow single, but I'm not gonna put them up here. Cuz, it's uh, not a thread about avatars. Oh! YEAH.
I heard the electronic noises in GGJ after the solo, and I liked 'em, but it works better with a visual than alone in a song/headphones. It sounds a bit shitty at the end without the "alien abduction" context. I'm on the fence.
I thought the REEEEP REEEEEEEEEEEP in Tokyo Bambi solo was a spiffy addition. There was an electronic noise earlier in the song that I didn't feel belonged, though. (1:53-1:54) But when it comes to that wacky warning siren in Tokyo Bambi, for me it adds to the quirky celebration vibe. I lol'd when I heard it.
Lol Scarecrow. :3

Hm. I thought the exact opposite. It takes your attention off the solo too much. I'm expecting the grating sound effect rather than listening to Manabe. It's like...::anticipation of a horrible electronic noise:: while ::oh, do you hear that guy playing guitar in the corner?::

If it continued for the second half I'd definitely hate it, but since the first half of the solo repeats a bit, it links well for me. It's not grating for me, though I could understand if guitar players wouldn't like it. The song seems to go in so many wacky directions without ever getting lost; I appreciate this little extra, and for me it works. I'm ok with the minority opinion on this one.
But! 2 out of 3 songs on a single with electronic noises, some hit and miss. There is potential for suck if they get too willy-nilly with the beeps and boops in the future.

So, what exactly was the special bonus that came with preordering all three CD's?
READ MORE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I've only said it at least twice in just the last three fucking pages dude. It's a goods campaign; buy all three, send the shit in, and get either a huge glow in the dark buster or a buster-kun wristband. I'm not going to type it up again, next time somebody asks, I'm just going to tell them to read the damned thread or look at the pillows's fucking website. GOD.
Oh, sorry. I was in a hurry that day and didn't read the other pages. Again, sorry.

It's all good. I was mostly being facetious (except about the part about not typing out the info again).

Haha, thanks. Next time, I'm not going to be a lazy person and actually read.

After further listening, I have considered that perhaps it would be helpful to think of the pillows after TYMT as an entirely separate band from their earlier selves. Compared to B-sides like Beautiful Picture, She is Perfect, and I Want to Live Like That, the tracks on Tokyo Bambi are entirely forgettable. Hardly worth mention.
For new pillows, however, this single is decent.

I agree 100%.
The whole single is decent, but when you compare it with those past b-sides, it really makes you put things in perspective.
