As things stand, a top 10 that encompasses their whole discography is just too tough to come up with.
I can help you :p... I think your list would look something like this: Lesser Hamster in Blue Swanky Street Liberty Suicide Diving Yellow Beans Yaer!

Re: IM's pillows top 100
Yeah, I suppose I may be taking this too seriously. Let's see here...
Off the top of my head, I'd say something like:
Tiny Boat Liberty Ki ni Shitenaiyo Angel Fish Monochrome Lovers Lesser Hamster no Yuutsu Skeleton Liar Last Dinosaur Daydream Wonder RoSS (the first song of theirs I fell in love with <3)
There are so, so many I could add to the list. These are among my most frequented, however. Still feels silly throwing the list together, since I keep thinking of other songs that should make the cut. Lol

Re: IM's pillows top 100
Good job Hamster! You know deserve a custom title!...oh wait..you really do For the record, these songs are nominated the most up till now: Fool On The Planet Skeleton Liar Swanky Street Tiny Boat White Summer And Green Bicycle, Red Hair With Black Guitar God Tier songs man keep them coming people! edit: btw, you know the radio stations over here always have a yearly top 2000 or 4000 or something. That top 4000 gets played till 12 'o clock new year's eve. I think I'll play all the songs you listed on 9/16 . We have to get a listening room up again or something. Would be rad.

Re: IM's pillows top 100
You guys are right, this was more difficult to come up with than I expected. Here is what I have:
Little Busters (I remember hearing this for the first time as a little kid and just thinking how great it sounded. Always a favorite for me) Another Morning Spiky Goose Bokura no Hare suisee Crazy Sunshine Funny Bunny No Self Control Trip Dancer One life I think I can
A lot of these were chosen because the nostalgia monster wanted them. Little Busters and One Life, to just name two, have been with me for so long. They are absolutely ingrained in my memory, I think. Besides that, all these songs are just plain good!
My honorable mention list (the ones I had to prune out from my first brainstorm) is equally as long, or longer.

Re: IM's pillows top 100
No particular order:
Last Dinosaur Crazy Sunshine Good Morning, Good News Skeleton Liar Blues Drive Monster Kanojo wa Kyou Backseat Dog Midnight Down Daydream Wonder Fool on the Planet
not in the list, but I wanna say it anyway cause no one else is gonna say it: Freebee Honey. Maybe the most criminally underrated/under-talked-about pillows track. I remember people coming around on Foreigner a long time ago, but I don't recall people losing it over Freebee Honey. Which they should have.
Of course this task is impossible, but I just tried to crack it out in five minutes. Tried to include a mix of their "best" songs (although I didn't include Swanky Street or Strange Chameleon...strangely) and my personal votes (like Backseat Dog which I adore). I didn't pick songs that were sort of a one-trick pony, regardless of how good the trick is. I count ROBOTMAN in that - great song, great driving attitude, but it doesn't have a ton of ideas in it. Tried to stick with songs that I consistently am hooked into from start to finish - that's why Shiroi isn't on here, despite its greatness. Shiroi's chorus is just a little flat (who am I kidding though, the entire song is gold, HA).

Re: IM's pillows top 100
Freebee Honey was always my favorite off of PL, really. It's one of those highly under-rated songs which makes PL, a highly under-rated album.
I remember back in the day PL would get so much hate around here, and I always extolled, "No IM, see the light! It IS great!" It has some of the greatest diversity of any album, maybe not genre-wise, but stylistically. You've got your driving rock songs (and I mean DRIVING...Freebee Honey, Mole Town Prisoner, to a lesser extent I Know You...these are all fast-paced, loud, in your face songs) and your laid-back jams (The Scar Whispers is a fucking amazing song, as is The Sun That Will Not Rise....Lonesome Diamond is slower and relaxed, but good). Then you've got the in betweeners, which are great as well, THR, Moon Margeruite (sp?).... Dead Stock Paradise and Super Trampoline School Kid are just fun. Phantom Pain and Lonesome Diamond were always outliers for me, not gonna lie, but still extremely listenable.

Re: IM's pillows top 100
Man, I remember when I first got my PS3 and I downloaded an FLCL AMV which used Little Busters.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORQeOVOPv7c
This was when I was a sophomore in high school and was really finally starting to get into the pillows via the FLCL OSTs and some random b-sides that found themselves onto Gendou's Anime Music. This song used to get me SO pumped. Now it does nothing for me at all. hahaha. I don't even remember how it used to make me feel.
This holds true for a lot of FLCL-era songs. I've just been listening to them for too long. I go back to them now and then, but Little Busters isn't one of the songs I can really go back to. It's just gone so stale. haha

Mhm! And the site is still alive and well! Take a look!
http://gendou.com/amusic/?filter=FLCL
Dat page. Hasn't changed at all. It has a few non-FLCL tracks on it too, which really helped sweeten the deal back when I was getting to the pillows!

I can understand this. I listened the hell out of so many songs. I took a long break from them, though, and listening again they sounded good again, if not necessarily novel. The feelings evoked upon relistening (rereading, for books) after a long time is an interesting phenomenon.

Re: IM's pillows top 100
The pillows have what, over 300 songs now? How the hell do you pick ten?! Imma try... Skeleton Liar Another Morning Patricia Strange Chameleon Trip Dancer Ano Hito Onaji Sora no Shita De Beautiful Picture Fool on the Planet Akanai Tobira no Mae De Our Halley's Comet So many more I'd like to include! Can't it be a top 50 or something? This was hard. And Freebee Honey is easily one of the pillows' best songs to rock the fuck out to. EDIT: And it was the first thing to come on shuffle today. YES.

Re: IM's pillows top 100
After countless hours of meditation, I have emerged from my cave with my list.
Back seat dog Funny Bunny Ano hi to onaji sora no shita de Over Amp Subhuman Rush Babylon Verses of Angel Akanai tobira no mae de Blues Drive Monster Shiroi natsu
I just don't get what people get out of Skeleton Liar. For a long time I didn't like it at all. I loved ROSS and Subhuman so I was expecting it to be fucking amazing but I couldn't even get a quarter chub off it.

You'd better go back into your cave and think about what you just said.
And also for including Babylon Verses of Angel on your list. Unforgivable!
Lol, I feel the same way about Babylon Verses of Angel that you do about Skeleton Liar. Like, I can listen to it, but it does pretty much nothing for me.
