Have you tried using it? I'm pretty sure Amazon Japan prime only does free shipping domestically, unless I'm missing something. So unless you're in Japan...

Yeah I saw that, oh well, still cheaper on there as far as the prices go. Maybe some things are a little cheaper on hmv.

I'm guessing it's one of those made after the fact PV's like the Revival one we just got.

It's one of my favourite songs, So I guess I'm semi excited :dizzy:

Post Re: "Revival of motion pictures"
Well I just got my Blu-Ray today, making me a very happy Buster! :D I would've gotten it yesterday, but I wasn't home when the mail was delivered. I've only gotten through the PML videos, and I'll watch the rest again in the next few days, but man... it's been really great watching these videos for the first time in what's definitely been years.

I forgot how much I loved Girlfriend's video; the full set of musicians playing, Sawao's cool, calm and collected self, and of course the song itself. Trip Dancer is especially endearing with the awesome style of video harkening back to the style of old home movies, along with the kid versions playing music and frisbee with each other.

But I'm sure you all want to know about the good stuff. The Blu-Ray starts with the four band members carrying the black flag seen on the "Our Black Flag" cover, with Sawao randomly pumping his fist in the air as No Substance plays. Then the screen goes black and the moment we've all waited for starts. Ame ni Uteba's video was awesome, nothing too different from what you've already seen. However there's a lot of close-ups of each of the band members, and it's really interesting to see how much they've grown... because they all look so young in this video! For Kimi ga Iru, it's not actually a music video, but a live performance from December 20th, 1990. That's a full six months before the release of Moon Gold. What I wouldn't give to see a full performance of that show.

As for the White Incarnation version of Our Halley's Comet, that in fact IS a legit music video. It features the four band members standing in a field, pretty similar to Ame ni Uteba, except in the background is residential area. There's some time lapse effects going on with the camera work, but that's about it.

Nothing as far as extras though, on disc or in the box. The booklet that was promised just has a different picture from the cover's photoshoot, and a tracklist spanning about 10 pages with pictures of the album and single covers the videos belonged to, along with the release date. Kind of disappointed there weren't any extras like with the stickers in the 20th anniversary releases, but I still think this was a great purchase, and it's definitely something I can enjoy for a long time to come. Hope the rest of you get it soon!

I pre-ordered it months in advance to assure that I would receive it as soon as possible... only to have my bank give me issues when it was ready to ship. I'm an angry, ANGRY buster.
I would have had it by now, but instead I'm still wanting for my bank to get their crap together before it can be shipped. :P

Post Re: "Revival of motion pictures"
Just finished watching the rest. Pretty awesome trip down memory lane, and the new vids we're good too. Mr droopy was actually a compilation of footage from the '08 American tour. I remember seeing this before, maybe on the We Are Friends DVD? Hopefully someone can refresh my memory with that. Last holiday was definitely shot recently; Sawao had his wired neck beard going. They played on top of a building during a sunset, pretty straight forward. Jun was in this video.

Friends of the quarter century (or whatever it's called) featured a Texas theme with the band wearing appropriate clothes in a Texas Corral type bar. Jun was also featured in that vid. I sish I could rip these so you guys could watch too, but my PC is being fixed by HP right now. Hopefully it'll make the rounds on YouTube soon though.

Got everything, didn't watch revival of motion pictures, but did watch Lostman go to America, and hung up those all access passes that came with our black flag.

Edit: Watched Revival of motion pictures up to monochrome lovers. That kimi ga iru live... The quality is great.

Is Kimi ga iru different from the live we already have (assuming you're aware of it)?

You mean from the video that also had Ame ni Uteba and Come Together, right? That's the only other Moon Gold era live video I can remember, and the live version on this disc is not from that show. Also, since I can't rip the video right now, I'm trying to at least get a recording up of the audio for Kimi ga Iru. I'll try and get it up tonight or tomorrow

No, not that one. It's got Kimi ga iru, interview, and Stand Up and Go (incomplete). Sawao has that goofy green jacket.

Kimi ga iru is from December 20th 1990 at Club GIO. It's different from the one on the video with Stand up and go or anything else we have files of (unless I'm missing somethin'. Haven't paid attention in a few years.).
The new PVs are pretty awesome. Apparently Quater bakugyaku no tomo was recorded at a Texas themed restaurant and bar in Tokyo called "Little Texas". I have to check this place out sometime.

I got my copy today. It's probably the coolest thing that they've ever released.
