Spiky Goose And Hello! Cherry
I like Subhuman, but it's not really "forgotten"

I feel like the title of this thread is misleading; I read it as "B-sides are forgotten gems," not "B-sides that are forgotten gems"
But yeah I forgot Spiky Goose and Ninny and Cherry.

Re: B-sides: the forgotten gems
I thought Beautiful Picture being superior to Hybrid Rainbow was a known fact.

Re: B-sides: the forgotten gems
I feel pretty bad about Hybrid Rainbow. It used to move me so much. Now, I usually get irritated upon hearing it. I have to take long breaks between listenings.
Beautiful Picture is so awesome though. I rarely listen to it as well, but when I do, it definitely counts.

Re: B-sides: the forgotten gems
I thought about deleting Hybrid Rainbow from my library when it came up on shuffle a while ago.
I thought about deleting Hybrid Rainbow from my library when it came up on shuffle a while ago.
I approve. I'm not really back from the dead. I just felt like chatting for a minute about the golden age of the pillows as I have been experiencing a "rediscovery" over the past week. May the band rest in peace. Anyone else down with the Turn Back version of "Bokura no Hare Suisei"? I know it's not a b-side but I've been listening to it alot. But as for another good b-side, anyone down with "Fakin' It"?
Beautiful Picture is better than Hybrid Rainbow, yes. I don't even really like Hybrid Rainbow that much anymore. But there is no B-Side better than Subhuman. I also like Sonna Fuu ni Sugoshitai quite a bit.
Spot on, Disco! The b-sides to ROSS were brilliant

Re: B-sides: the forgotten gems
Fakin' It is great. Helps that it's a really good song to begin with, of course. Not too nuts about Bokura no Haree Suisei... either version. They're okay, just kinda draggy.

Tiny Boat has to be in my top 5 pillows songs.

Re: B-sides: the forgotten gems
Because they are hidden tracks (and I rarely see them mentioned), the English version of We Have a Theme Song and the Manabe mix of Advice come to mind as "forgotten".
I've always thought that Terminal Heaven's Rock had bitchin' b-sides. Especially Sick Vibration.
Ninny is another totally bitchin' b-side.
