She's the hottest one - not hot, but hotter than the other two. But think about it. In this economy, a sugar mama is perhaps far preferable to a younger college student beleaguered with debt. And I wouldn't have to worry about working. How cool would that be?

For me, it's hard to say I prefer certain songs to others once I get to a certain level. This is especially true of the pillows' stuff in the 90s. But I see what you mean.

In general I would agree, but then, every once in a while there is a song that just "clicks". Native World did it for me. If I look at it in a solely objective manner, I wouldn't put it in my top tier either. But in listening to it, the song manages to find a special place that isn't satisfied elsewhere. That's what gives it this special boost. Of course, I can't use that subjective nonsense to defend it any further than my own personal enjoyment, but nonetheless, my input counts for something, especially in a community as small and concentrated as ours. Perhaps that's what people resonate with when they jump on a praise bandwagon?

If you don't feel it, you're gonna feel like there is a collective "wrong" going on. I've felt that too. But for me, it's hard to rain on someone's parade. As long as I don't find a song objectively lacking, I won't say anything beyond, "it's good, but it ain't my favorite". Because there's obviously something intangible in progress. That's why distinguishing between greats get harder in the 90s pillows music for me. The rigor and diversity of the writing is pretty fucking high. To the point that a lot of songs are musically sound (though obviously there are THE BEST of the best). But I think the quality is good enough that the best of the best can vary quite a bit from person to person. This is what makes the macro-scale PIRROWS SONG LOVE so... "controversial". That's what makes the pillows such an impressive band, imo.

Is that the guitarist? The drummer had superior hair. Although the guitarist likely makes more bank? I will have to draft a spreadsheet analysis. But hair is pretty important.

The bassist, though - kinda creepy...but hey, beggars can't be choosers in the realm of sugar motherhood. I could do that. She wasn't fat.
